From over the Pass
Turn right into the main street at the monument. Look for the church on the right. Next left is De La Rey Street. Cook’s Cottage is the cottage on the right at the first junction with Van Wijk Street.

General
1. Full payment is due 30 days before check-in. Check in details are sent on receipt of payment.
2. All payments are to be made in Rands, free of bank charges.
3. The accommodation may not be occupied by anyone other than the guest who has made the booking and his or her guests. The number of guests staying at the accommodation may not surpass the number advertised on the website www.explorersclub.co.za
4. Unless otherwise agreed prior to booking, the accommodation may not be used for any purpose other than private accommodation.
Occupation times
5. Arrival Time 2:00pm on the arrival date (unless otherwise specified)
6. Departure Time 10:00am on the departure date (unless otherwise specified)
Liability
7. Neither the owners of the establishment nor Explorers Club accept any responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to persons or property of the guests and the premises and facilities are used entirely at the occupant’s own risk.
Duration
8. These terms and conditions are valid for the duration of your booking. They may be changed at any time without notice.
Payments
9. Payments can be made by Credit Card or EFT
Conditions de paiement
Booking Terms:
-50% deposit is due 48 hours after date of confirmation to secure the booking by bank transfer or credit card.
-Full payment is required within 48 hours for bookings that commence within the following 30 days.
-Deposits are non-refundable
-Balance of accommodation account is payable 30 days prior to date of arrival.
-We require guests to sign an accident & liability waiver form upon check in.
Politique d'annulation
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations are only valid if received in writing and acknowledged by both parties.
- A 50% cancellation fee is applicable on the balance payment if booking is cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival.
- A 100% cancellation fee is applicable if cancelled 15 or less days prior to arrival.
- Cancellation of a confirmed booking will result in loss of the deposit.
-In the event of premature departure the full extent of stay, as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged.
-Refunds and waiver of cancellation policies are at the discretion of Explorers Club, as is the ability to re-let the accommodation.
