Alpenhof is a premier bed and breakfast known for its clean and beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds, amazing gardens, interesting objets d'art, relaxed atmosphere, great hospitality and, of course, our famous cooked-to-order breakfasts. We are a wonderfully different boutique hotel; a great alternative to hotels, motels, and country inns.
We are located in beautiful Upper Providence Township in Media, Pennsylvania - minutes from Swarthmore, Newtown Square, Edgemont, and the Philadelphia International Airport. Within twenty minutes drive - Philadelphia, Chanticleer, Winterthur, Longwood Gardens, Valley Forge, Brandywine, and King of Prussia. Minutes from the house is Ridley Creek State Park – the largest state park in PA and Tyler Arboretum – the oldest arboretum in the Northeast.

For everyones' comfort and safety, children and small dogs are only permitted in the Rock Garden Cottage.
All rates are based on double occupancy per single night stay. Breakfast is included with each night's stay.
Breakfast is served daily between 7a and 9a in the main house.
Check in times are between the hours of 2p and 9p unless specific arrangements are made with the owners prior to your reservation.
Check out is 11a.
Payment Policy
Payment in full is due upon arrival / check-in to the property.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations of less than 7 days notice: Deposit equivalent of one (1) night stay will be charged, but may be applied toward a future reservation minus the $25 cancellation fee.
