Welcome to the Bahia Mar Experience!

Meals: Breakfast is served from 07h00 – 11h00. Should you wish to eat earlier kindly notify reception who will be happy to make special arrangements for you. Snacks, luncheon and dinner - Our comprehensive a la carte menu is available from 11h00 – 20h30. The waiters keep a record of meals and drinks at the bar; this can be checked by you at any time.

Check in/out: Check out is 11h00 - Extensions to check out can only be offered when we are not expecting in-coming guests to your room. Check in is from 14h00. Airport transfers are a complimentary service, the mini bus leaves the hotel every day approximately at 11.30h.

Wellness & Spa: The centre opens from 09h-18h00, appointments can be made at reception. Our internationally trained personnel will be happy to assist you.

Gym: Our fully equipped gymnasium is open from 06h00 – 20h00 daily. Two professional trainers are available to assist you if required and regular classes are offered for both yoga and general fitness with the exception of Sundays. Please enquire at our gym reception, situated in the gymnasium itself.

Activities - Mothassane – our beautiful 12 passenger speed boat, is available for hire should you wish to visit the islands, snorkel or go whale watching (in season). Kindly book at reception.

Dhow trips, deep sea fishing, diving, horse riding etc: Vilanculos offers a wide range of activities from community tours and bird watching through to ocean excursions by dhow – the traditional fishing vessels. These activities are outsourced so, to ensure you use reliable operators, kindly ask reception to arrange your adventures for you.

Tuk Tuks and Taxis: Reception are happy to call you a ‘cab’. Please check the rate you will be charged prior to departure as this can be subject to whim! Most drivers speak English and are happy to give you their phone number to arrange your return trip.

Community upliftment: Bahia Mar is proud to support the Bonguili Project. This pre-primary school cares for over 50 youngsters, teaching them basic alphabet and sums through an internationally accredited ‘learn through play’ system. If you would like to visit the school and meet these delightful young people and their dedicated teachers, please ask reception to organise this for you.

Payment Policy

Airport transfers and breakfasts are complimentary.

A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking
Payment terms:
• All bank charges, taxes and other expenses are for the Payer´s account
• No Bank charges, taxed or other cost will be carried by Bahia Mar
• Please use the Booking Reference Number & Surname as a reference when making the payment.
• Kindly forward to us your Proof of Payment once completed
• Please specify if you would prefer the receipt in your name or that of a company.

a) A refund of the amount paid less 30% admin fee.
b) Full credit to be offset against any future bookings (valid for 12 months)
No refund for cancellations made within the 30 days of arrival.
