Please note the Lodge has two king beds and one double, one of which may be made into twin beds upon prior request. Unfortunately, due to the historical nature of the building the Lodge is not wheelchair accessible.
2. The wild birds on the Rushy Lake overlooked by the Lodge are WWT’s utmost priority and we want our guests to be able to enjoy watching them from the Lodge. Guests must therefore follow guidelines in the Lodge designed to avoid disturbance to the birds on the Rushy Lake and in particular must not interfere with the automatic blinds on the windows, which are set to close at dusk during the winter months.
3. Smoking is not permitted in the Lodge or any area other than the designated smoking area located on the bench in the front garden. Smoking inside will be regarded as a breach of these booking terms and conditions and may result in additional cleaning charges payable by you.

Neither shall we be liable for any loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising under or in connection with your booking. Where we are liable, we will only be responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of a breach of contract or negligence. Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, or agents; or any other exclusion prohibited by law.
4. A party which is not a party to our Contract shall have no right to enforce any term under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

8. BESPOKE EXPERIENCES AT SLIMBRIDGE
1. Your enjoyment and safety is paramount in the experiences we offer you and your guests. An introduction will be given to the safe approach to different bird, animal and amphibian species at WWT Slimbridge. All animals should be approached in a calm and quiet manner. We do not keep any species listed under the dangerous animals act and any close contact will be carefully supervised. However, when in close contact with any living creature there is a very small risk you may be hurt by them. Our experienced keepers will supervise the approach and handling of animals under their responsibility and at all times practice safe handling techniques.
2. Feeding the birds or animals will require close contact with some species and all necessary safety and hygiene precautions must be adhered to according to the feeding protocols, advised by the keeper responsible.
3. At no time will you be allowed to enter an area or enclosure without the supervision of a qualified keeper.
4. Due to the hands-on nature of some of the experiences participants must be physically fit and suffering no severe health problems.
5. Regrettably certain guests will be unable to take part including people with relevant phobias or known allergies; pregnant women; and immunocompromised individuals. Whilst every effort is made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty, and/or identify alternative activities and experiences, regrettably this cannot always be achieved. Please contact us in advance if you have any concerns or would like to discuss your needs.
6. If circumstances dictate, such as bad weather or particular animals or birds being unwell, it may be necessary to change the chosen activities without prior notice. In such cases, we will always try our best to offer a suitable alternative.
7. In case of emergency, WWT reserves the right to close all or parts of the centre as necessary. Where this significantly impacts on a stay, we will offer an alternative date.
