Welcome to Black Bear Lodge, a 17-room hotel that sits alongside #9 fairway of picturesque Black Bear Golf Course. The Lodge features course-view rooms, a swimming pool and tennis court. The Lodge rooms include 2 king suites, 1 queen suite, 11 doubles and 3 king rooms.
The Lodge and Golf Course are named for the Louisiana black bear, which are often sighted on or near the course and the adjacent Poverty Point Reservoir. Please note that Black Bear Lodge is a non-smoking and pet-free facility.

Terms & Conditions

Black Bear Lodge is a property of the State of Louisiana. It has a policy of No Smoking and No Pets. If you are found to be in violation of either of these you will be assessed a $200 fee.
Check-in time is 3:00 pm. We will be happy to check you in early if your room is available. Check out time is 11:00 AM.
Our lobby hours are 7 am to 8 pm Sunday through Thursday and 7 am to 9 pm on Friday and Saturday. Please let us know ahead of time if you will be arriving after our lobby is closed. Arrangements will be made to process your check in before your arrival and your key will be left for you.

Payment Policy

If you need emergency assistance after lobby hours call 318-878-2668 or 318-369-4284 or 318-614-3372.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing via email or fax within 48 hours of check-in time on your arrival date or you will be charged for one night's stay. No Shows for confirmed reservations will be charged for all reserved dates.
