Pilots take note! The Aviator Room is a 5-minute walk from Big Bear Airport, and is filled with memorabilia from our flying uncles who fought in World War II. Call ahead, park your plane at Big Bear Airport and walk over to this great Fireplace Double Room. It is a large combination bedroom/family room and a bathroom with new tile shower. There is an Oak Gas Log Fireplace in front of the Queen-size pillow-top bed and a Full-size Murphy bed and love seat, as well as a Flat-screen TV and DVD above the fireplace. You can sleep 4 adults or kids (Only 4). There is a mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Read about Sleepy Forest Resorts owner Bob Pool's Uncle Herb who flew a C-47 over the Hump in Burma to China, and Uncle Leroy who piloted a B-17 Flying Fortress over Europe. Limited AIR CONDITIONING. Our cutest little attic bedroom, nostalgic to the treasure-chest that is Grandma's Attic. This 2nd story room offers a Queen-size bed in front of the old brick chimney-style gas fireplace (NO WOOD). Enjoy Victorian, country motif with a Flat-screen TV, Air Conditioning, and a cozy little tiled attic bathroom with full-size bathtub and shower wand (you cannot stand up in Grandma's shower!). We even squeezed in a small fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Walking distance to Big Bear City restaurants and Big Bear Airport.

Terms & Conditions
OCCUPANCY: Please carefully check this statement to make sure the dates and number of persons is correct. Extra persons over 11 years old in addition to 2 people are $10 more per person ($15 on holiday dates). Due to fire regulations and compliance with City laws, number of persons staying must not exceed maximum occupancy. Unregistered guests will cause you to be removed without a refund.
CONTACT: If you are dissatisfied with your accommodations, please tell us before using the room in any way so we may attempt to make your stay more pleasant. We cannot give any refunds after you have stayed. If you have any questions please call 909-866-7444 immediately as we cannot guarantee any changes after arrival. Dial extension 118 anytime day or night to reach a manager.
CHECK IN: Starts at 4pm, we do our best to have all rooms ready by 4 PM, but cannot guarantee check-in prior to 5 PM or later on some high volume dates. Reservations made the day-of do not have a guaranteed check-in time as we need time to clean the rooms prior to check-in. For check-ins after 8 PM guests must contact us in advance to arrange late arrival. Any unpaid balance and a security deposit or credit card on file will be required at check in.
CHECK OUT: Is 11 AM. We can never guarantee late check out as this room has been contractually promised to other guests. If belongings are left in the room, we will be required to remove them to prepare for the next guest.
NOTICE: A valid Credit Card must be on file and will be charged accordingly if these policies are not adhered to or for damages or extra cleaning. Debit Cards for security must be charged in advance at least $100 and refunds may take up to two weeks. Innkeeper law is posted in room. This property is privately owned and operated and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not be responsible for accidents, injury or loss of valuables. There is a fireproof safe in the office. Please do not leave valuables in the room.
Payment Policy
Advance payment and a valid credit or debit card on file are required. All reservations must be paid in full within 2 weeks of reservation check-in date. Please call ahead for tentative reservation inquiries.
Cancellation Policy
We cannot Refund after you stay, so we ask that you let us know WHILE STAYING WITH US how you feel - and that you inform us of any issues or concerns right away, while here - so that we can fix them and take care of you sooner than later. Advance payment by credit or debit is required, but refunded less a 7% cancellation fee if canceled before 15 days prior to arrival. No refunds can be given if canceled within the last 15 days before arrival, but Rainchecks might be issued upon request. Holiday reservations require payment 30 days in advance and must be canceled 30 days prior to arrival for refunds or rain checks.
