The Clachan cottage hotel in Perthshire with its picturesque loch side position beside Loch Earn is ideally suited for all kinds of holiday breaks, the location of the hotel directly on the shore of Loch Earn is one of the most enviable locations in Scotland.

The views from the hotel across to the historic Edinample Castle are simply astounding, fresh colours of spring, long summer evenings watching the sunset over the hills, with the resident Ospreys circling overhead looking to swoop down and catch a trout in front of your very eyes, our patio is the ideal spot to just take in the beauty and splendour of Lochearnhead.

There is an onsite waters ports centre (Loch Earn Wakeschool) with numerous offerings including paddle boardng, kayaking, waterskiing, wakeboarding, Wakesurfing and towable inflatables plus instruction as required.

Moorings and launch facilities for guests wishing to bring a boat to explorer the loch are subject to availability, additional costs apply.

Cyclists cant resist the Glenogle trail and route 7 of the Sustrans cycle networks is just five minutes away, a cyclists paradise on the doorstep. Walkers have a plethora of , hills, trails and other venues of interest close by.

Originally built as a row of cottages, The Clachan Hotel has been extended over the years to provide 18 letting rooms.

We have two dog friendly rooms and a dog friendly bar/restaurant. Dogs are not permitted in any other bedrooms, any more than one dog per bedroom requires approval in advance,
