Due to remote location in Bodmin Moor, Colliford Lake hotel has advantage of less public exposure. The site has 17 acres of lands and woodlands and an outdoor play area. The 900 acres Colliford Lake is within the working distance as well all walking on the moor can be an exciting activities away from mass gathering. Therefore the guest can enjoy the tranquility of the nature when it needed most. In addition to that we have added following additional safety measures in place:

2. One way route to the hotel room and exit
3. Guest can enjoy the breakfast at room
4. Separate breakfast slots with social distance
5. No nonresident guest allowed
6. Every room is been disinfected sealed after the guest checked out

10. Shower Block is been cleaned every hour and additional disinfection station placed for the guest use for the guest uses.
Colliford Tavern and Camp Site is overlooking Colliford Lake with stunning views and is set in 15 acres amidst mature pine trees. It is less than a quarter mile off the A30 which connects you to the whole of Cornwall and all it has to offer. Beautiful beaches are under half an hour journey from The Tavern. We are a designated Dark Sky Area and regularly hold eveings hosted by our local observatorys who bring their telescopes and images so we can view the stars and planets. The site has various types of accommodation including double, twin and family hotel rooms, Self catering apartment, static caravan, Touring caravan pitches with electric hook-ups and over 40 camping pitches. There is free parking on site and we have an outdoor childrens play ground. The indoor Facilities include, our onsite bar "Lakeview Restaurant and Bar" serving traditional Cornish fayre from full cornish breakfast, steaks, Sunday Roast, Childrens Meals and snacks, Cornish Pasties and Cream Teas and delicious cakes and desserts. We have a games room, live music regularly and DJ in peak season. We have a well stocked bar serving real ales, a range of lagers, Gin bar and a wide range of spirits and non alcoholic drinks. Whenever you want to escape from a busy life, the Colliford Tavern holiday park is an ideal location , a peaceful place for you and your friends and family to relax. Colliford Tavern has recently refurbished its event venue with high standard. It can accommodate up to 120 guest for a meeting or public ceremony. The venue has licence for the public ceremony too. Whatever your occasion birthday to wedding, meeting to gathering for an event, we can cater for all your needs. The hotel can accommodate up to 30 guest on its accommodation and has over 40 caravan and camping pitches on site. The on site catering services can arrange a wide range of food on demand at a competitive price.

Your booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a deposit – representing the cost of one night stay. The deposit is refundable if cancellation made 7 days before your first night stay.
We do not offer 24 hours reception; we therefore ask that you let us know what time on the first day of your booking, the time you will arrive. We will then arrange for a member of staff to meet you at the guesthouse. The check in time period we offer each day is 03pm and 09pm. In the event you are held up, we ask that you let us know immediately so we can make alternative arrangements. If you do not arrive on time or fail to make alternative arrangements we will assume that you have cancelled the room and will charge the full amount of the stay to your card and we reserve the right to offer the room to a 3rd party if you are more than 3 hrs late from your arrival time.
Due to the size and nature of our business we do not offer a butler service to and from the rooms with your luggage, (Please inform us in advance if you require such service)
Your Booking is personal to you and you cannot sell or transfer your stay to a 3rd party.
If you are booking for a 3rd party – you will be liable to ensure that they comply with the terms, conditions and house rules which are in force at that time and will be liable for any loss or destruction of property during their stay.
Rates, terms and conditions and descriptions of what we offer are only kept up to date on this website www.colliford.com we are aware that third parties advertise our guesthouse however we do not take responsibility for any inaccuracies, which may exist on third party sites and it is your responsibility to ensure you check in the information here on our site.
On arrival at the Guesthouse, you must present evidence of identity, and credit/debit card details to hold the deposit
If you cancel your booking you need to cancel with a minimum of 7 days prior to the first night booked, if we receive your cancellation in time you will be refunded the deposited amount, failing which the cost of your whole stay becomes payable.
Breakfast will be charged if it is not included at your room price. Also non inclusive breakfast needs to be booked in advance during booking or at bar/reception.
In the event you commit damage or lost the contents of the property or room you will be charged the replacement or repair cost depends on the condition. you will be issued an invoice once the cost has been deducted from your payment card.
if you cause destruction or interfere with property belonging to the guesthouse or if you cause nuisance annoyance or sufferance to the occupiers or the neighbouring rooms and or staff we will terminate your booking and you will be charged the whole amount of your booking. In addition, we may instruct a third party to recover the amount equal to the value of such destruction.
In the event that you need to change the dates of the booking – you need to inform us of your wishes with at least 1 days before the date of your original arrival date. In the event you fail to do this, then the whole of the price of your original booking will become payable.
We shall not be liable for noncompliance of this agreement in the event we have to cancel your booking due to an event, which is beyond our control, such as floods, earthquakes, natural disasters, and failure of utilities, fires floods, burglary, or another such incident.
In some circumstances, we do offer to park at the guesthouse. However, this is subject to availability. We do not accept responsibility for any loss damage or destruction of your car or its contents and if you decide to use our car park you do so, entirely at your own risk.
On Arrival at the Tavern, you agree to inspect the room/pitch/caravan and to tell the member of staff escorting you to your room/site of any problems.
In the event that you have a complaint, we first ask you to bring it to the attention of a member of staff, this will enable us to put things right.
Additional guests, who are not booked in with the hotel, we will charge you for the full amount of their stay, equal to your whole booking.
Campsite pitches are offered two-person accommodation per night. Additional person and Electricity supply charge will be added on top if required. Please check our website for any additional service you require.
Third-party booking site has different terms and conditions, therefore please read their terms and conditions carefully. The stranded terms and conditions on our website may differ from them. Above terms and conditions are applicable to the guest directly booked from our website.
These terms and conditions can only be amended if done so in writing.
Welcome to Colliford Tavern and Campsite
Site policy
Due to Covid-19 there are some extra measurer in place in addition to our standard policy. These are as follows:
a. Please keep social distance of 2 meter where possible at all time of your stay.
b. Only 2 person at a time can be used any category of the facilities in the shower block unless from the same family.
c. Use hand sanitizer and alcohol gel provided in the shower block.
d. Please do not gather together if you are not part of the same party or family.
1. GENERAL
1.1 - This policy of the A4 Holidays Limited T/A Colliford Tavern and Campsite is based on Colliford Tavern and campsite, Colliford Lake, St. Neot, Liskeard, PL14 6PZ.
1.2 - This policy is supplementary to the guest agreed during the booing of the pitch via website or over the phone.
1.3 - We ask all of our guests and users of our site to comply with our policy. If you or your party do not comply with the policy we may terminate your booking and/or prohibit future use of our sites or other services and/or ask you to leave the site.
1.4 - The use of threatening behaviour and/or foul and abusive language will not be tolerated and will result in the offender being asked to leave the site by a member of the Site team.
1.5 - Persons who are subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 may not use any campsite operated under the control of the Site.
2. YOUR BOOKING
2.1 - On all of our sites, the maximum stay allowed is 28 days, after which time you must vacate the site for a minimum of 24 hours before you can return.
2.2 - Our camp sites are for recreational use only. Campers are not permitted to use the Site sites as a base for running a business, carrying out work, including the provision of driving lessons. Campers must not advertise services and goods for sale at camping events except with the permission of the Site team.
2.3 - At the discretion of the holiday site manager, some Customers may stay on site in a conventional unit, whilst working in the local area.
2.4 - If planning to use a non-proprietary camping unit, please seek approval from Customer Services before camping for the first time.
2.5 - On a member only site up to four non-guests (adults and/or children) may be included in a guests' party provided the non-guests camp in the member's unit, with the member present.
2.6 - Sub-letting of units is not permitted.
2.7 - To ensure the best experience for all, we ask all of our guests and users of our campsites to comply with booking policies.
3. YOUR ARRIVAL AND CHECK IN
3.1 - Campers must not arrive before the published arrival time.
3.2 - If you are unexpectedly delayed on the day of arrival and expect to arrive after the last attended arrival time of 8pm, please call the site.
3.3 - So that we know you have arrived safely, all arrivals should make contact with a site team member so that we can welcome you and direct you to your pitch.
3.4 - Please ensure you have your guestship card with you as proof of guestship.
3.5 - On check in please make payment for the balance of your pitch fees when requested.
3.6 - In the event of poor ground conditions a pitch may not be available. The team will endeavour to advise you in advance should this occur but no responsibility can be accepted if this is not possible.
3.7 - Please familiarise yourself with any of the site's fire regulations and fire-fighting equipment and its location as soon as you arrive on site.
3.8 - In the interests of security, day visitors (guests and non-guests) must report to a Site team member immediately on arrival at site. Entry and the subsequent parking will be at their discretion.
4. YOUR PITCH
4.1 - For your safety, we operate a "six metre rule" which means that units (excluding guy ropes) should be 6 metres apart from adjacent units in order to protect against fire.
4.2 - The unit (along with any ancillary equipment) must fit within the confines of your pitch whilst maintaining the 6 metre rule. If this cannot be achieved you may need to purchase an additional pitch (if available) or remove the ancillary equipment.
4.3 - Children's pup tents can be classified as an integral part of a unit, in the same way as an awning, when they are occupied by children aged 17 years or under, and included in the household guestship.
4.4 - You may park your vehicle between units, provided that 3m clear space is left within the 6m gap. Vehicles on site should be parked at right angles to a slope where possible.
4.5 - Ensure the mains electrical cable from the hook up point to your unit and the unit's installation are safe. All units should be protected by a residual current device (RCD). For tent campers, this should be incorporated into a purpose made mains supply unit designed for tent camping conditions.
4.6 - The Site does not permit the use of Electric Hook up splitters.
4.7 - Electric vehicles may be charged on site only by plugging into the camper unit, not directly into the hook up, in order to prevent potential damage to the sites electrical provision. In some circumstances during high demand this may be at the site managers discretion.
5. YOUR STAY ON SITE
5.1 - Any facilities on site are provided for your convenience. Please use responsibly.
5.2 - It is important for Campers to respect the local community by observing and respecting each other's privacy. Respect should be shown to landowner’s property, trees, fences, farm buildings, equipment, crops, stock and all surrounding areas.
5.3 - The Site considers the use of e-cigarettes the same as cigarettes and as such, all legal requirements should be adhered to in their use during your stay.
PETS
5.4 - We welcome well behaved pets on site and hope they enjoy their stay as much as you do, but in the interest of safety and comfort we ask that pets are kept on a lead of no more than 2m when outside.
5.5 - Please note we do not allow on site any breed of dog listed under the Dangerous Dogs act 1991.
5.6 - With the exception of assistance dogs, pets are not allowed in the toilet block or other structures.
5.7 - For everybody's comfort on site, pet owners are respectfully asked to ensure any mess is cleaned up and noise is kept to a minimum.
MOVEMENT AROUND SITE
5.8 - For site safety a 5mph speed limit must be adhered to at all times.
5.9 - All cycles should use appropriate lighting if used at a time when it should be required.
RECREATION
5.10 - Games are permitted in designated recreational areas or areas agreed by Site team guests. Please check with the Site team before playing.
5.11 - The launching and storage of jet skis is not allowed on Site sites.
NOISE
5.12 - We want all of our campers to have a relaxing stay, that’s why we ask that there be no noise or movement of vehicles between 11pm and 7am.
5.13 - Noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times so as not to disturb the enjoyment of others.
VEHICLES
5.14 - Essential repairs can be carried out so that an unserviceable vehicle can leave the site, but, maintenance and servicing are not allowed.
5.15 - Discretion will be shown to allow vehicle and/or unit cleaning, providing it can be done discreetly in an area indicated by a Site team member.
SANITATION
5.17 - Rubbish should be recycled wherever possible.
5.18 - Emptying and cleaning of chemical toilets must only be done at a chemical disposal point, using water from that source.
BARBECUES
5.19 - Please only use proprietary portable barbecues and ensure they're raised off the ground sufficiently to prevent damage.
5.20 - Due to the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, never take a barbecue inside your unit for any reason.
SAFETY
5.21 - Please follow any instructions given by a member of the site team - they are there to ensure your safety and everyone else's.
5.22 - We want to keep our younger campers safe - if you are staying with children, please make sure they are supervised at all times.
5.23 - Campfires are not permitted on our Site site.
5.24 - Site teams may instruct campers to take down their awnings, gazebos and windbreaks on safety grounds should it be deemed necessary.
5.25 - If you use a gas cylinder, it must be 15kg or less and must be stored within your unit's designated storage compartment.
5.26 - Please don't use any of the following while on site, as they may pose a danger to other campers and their units: model aircraft; drones; kites; sky lanterns; catapults; air guns; firearms; bows and arrows.
5.27 - We encourage you to visit the local area and enjoy off site activities, but in the interest of everyone’s safety, we respectfully request that your unit is not left unoccupied overnight. In exceptional circumstances, please seek advice from a member of the site team.
6. YOUR DEPARTURE
6.1 - So that we can offer all of our campers the same welcome as you received, we do ask that your pitch is vacated by 12pm. However, if your pitch isn’t needed straight away, it may be possible to stay a little longer - by arrangement with the Site team.
6.2 - To provide our next guest with the same clean, tidy pitch as you found on arrival, please ensure that you dispose of any rubbish, waste water and chemical waste in the designated areas before you depart.
6.3 - If you leave a unit or other property at a site without paying or prior arrangement, the Site shall be entitled to make such arrangements as it may deem fit for the removal or storage of such property. The expense of such storage or removal shall be charged to you. If you fail to pay such an account within 14 days of an account being rendered, then the Site may make such further arrangements as it may deem fit to dispose of the property to reimburse itself for out-of-pocket expenses and to recover any unpaid fees due.
7. LOST PROPERTY
7.1 All items of lost property will be retained for one calendar month. Items not claimed after this period will be donated to a local charity close to the site, this includes any monies. Any items that are not of use to any of the local charities will be disposed of.
7.2 Anything where the owner is readily identifiable will be either directly returned to the owner if still on site or contacted by phone if possible.
7.3 Owners are responsible for the cost of reclaiming their goods. The following items are excluded from this policy: credit or debit cards, there is any suspicion of danger to employees or to the public, unclaimed perishable goods, any item that has clearly been abandoned, or where items of property are claimed the claimant should be expected to provide a description of the items lost. The claimant must sign for all items claimed and record their full name and address.
8. LIABILITY
8.1 You are responsible for keeping your belongings safe.
8.2 The Site will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the property of the camper, including personal belongings, cash, jewellery and motor vehicles, however caused during their stay.
9. QUERIES OR COMPLAINTS
9.1 Any cause for complaint should in the first instance be addressed with a member of the Site team. If in the unlikely event that the complaint cannot be resolved on Site then it should be addressed for the attention of the general manager to the site at sham@colliford.com or writing Colliford Tavern and Campsite, Colliford Lake, St. Neot, Liskeard, PL 14 6PZ.
