On an elegant, tree-lined avenue, this bed and breakfast hotel is close to Hyde Park, the West End and Oxford Street. London Paddington Station is less than 350 metres away.
All of the tastefully decorated rooms have satellite flat screen TV, a telephone and tea/coffee facilities. Every room has a desk, and the beds have high quality orthopaedic mattresses.
Continental breakfast is served daily between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. The breakfast is complimentary and it must be booked upon check-in.
The hotel is on the south side of Sussex Gardens and has been tastefully converted. Nearby London Paddington Station offers the Heathrow Express train service.
Wi-Fi and some limited on-site parking are available for an additional cost. Parking is subject to availability, cannot be reserved and is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that due to the age of the building, the Hotel Columbus does not have a lift.

We may use third-party service providers to process your personal information on our behalf for the purposes of this booking. For example, we may share some information about you with these third parties so that they can contact you directly by email (for example: to obtain post stay reviews about your travel experience).
With the exception of our Advance Purchase rates, we do not make a charge to your credit card. However due to security reasons and in line with our cancellation policy, we pre-authorise your card prior to your arrival date.
For our Advance Purchase rate, we take the full prepayment at the time of the booking.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORISATION
We would like you to know that, your credit card details are safe and cannot be taken from our website.
When you book accommodation online with us, you will receive a confirmation email and a unique booking reference number.
After you receive our confirmation, your booking details and credit card information are sent to another system to check that your billing information and security code match with the information that your bank holds.
This process does not take place on the Hotel Columbus' website.
Some online booking systems use their website database to check everything and authorise payments immediately, we have a system that is not online and thus cannot be accessed by anyone or any computer system trying to locate customer data for fraud usage.
Your credit card number and the corresponding authorisation information are in separate locations for security purposes.
If we have any problems with the credit card or with the information that you have supplied, we will get in touch via email or telephone to resolve the issue prior to your arrival.
If we feel the booking is fraudulent, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and, we will notify you in writing.
You will be required to present the same credit card used for the reservation upon check-in.
Cancellation policy for refundable rates:
The guests can cancel free of charge until 3 days before arrival.
If cancelled later or in the case of no-show, 100% of the first night will be charged.
Cancellation policy for non-refundable rates:
The guests will be charged the total price if they cancel anytime.
