The Current River Inn (formerly The Hawthorne Motel) is a small, nostalgic roadside motel located in downtown Van Buren in the heart of the Mark Twain National Forest along the Ozark National Scenic Riverways!
The Current River Inn is located within walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants, and attractions including the famous Jolly Cone ice cream stand and the Current River, where people come every year to partake in many activities such as floating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and so much more!
We are also only 5 minutes from the beautiful Big Spring, one of the largest natural springs in the world!

We should mention
1. The seasonal pool will be open from May to September. Pool access available from 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM. There is no lifeguard on duty so residents and guests are responsible and will hold the Current River Inn, its staff, and Owners harmless. The use of the swimming pool and all recreational areas and are to be used according to the policies of Current River Inn and at your own risk. The property, Current River Inn and or management accept no liability and shall not be responsible for accident or injury thereto and guest remain solely responsible for the safekeeping of themselves, their friends, or any person for whom they are responsible. __________________
2. Money, jewels, vehicles and all other valuable items brought to the Current River Inn premises are at the guests own risk. The Current River Inn staff, management, and/or owners assume no liability and shall not be responsible for any loss or damage thereto. Guests remain solely responsible for all such items. Any items that are left or forgotten on the premises after checkout, will be turned in to the front desk and held for 30 days before disposal with the exception of illegal substances, which will be turned over to the authorities immediately. ______________
3. Guest will be held responsible for any loss, damage and/or theft to Current River Inn's Property caused by themselves, their friends, or any person for whom they are responsible or invite/bring on to the premises. ALL ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING. There will be a $200.00 cleaning fee charged to the responsible card presented at time of check in for smoking in the rooms caused by themselves, their friends, or any person for whom they are responsible or invite/bring on to the premises. ______________

Reservations must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance of check-in or a fee of 1 night plus tax will be charged to your card.
A "No Show" of a reservation will be charged the entire amount of the full reservation and the reservation will be cancelled.
