Property Information
The Dark Horse
Freshly decorated room above The Dark Horse pub. We specialise in real ale, craft ale and local ciders. The pub doesn't serve food but Church road hosts a plethora of different eateries from take-aways to cafes to sit-down restaurants.
Guests will check in at the bar and then have the key-code, so they can come and go as they please, even when the pub is closed. There is always someone about to help with any local knowledge, bus routes, et cetera.
We are close to a beautiful Victorian park -St Georges, perfect if you have a dog.
3 doors down from the pub we have the highly acclaimed restaurant The Lock up, who do a great brunch as well as ‘the’ place to go for dinner. Church Road is bustling and has a plethora of great independent cafes, a delicatessen, an award winning bakery and multiple supermarkets and convenience stores.
We are 10 minutes walk from Easton and The plough pub, Greenbank and the wonderful foodie shopping experience that is Sweetmart.

Things to keep in mind:
~ Check-in time is from 4pm to 10pm and check out is by 11am
~ Suitable for children and infants
~ Pets are allowed
~ No parties or events
~ Guests must climb stairs, rooms are unfortunately -not- wheelchair accessible
~ Potential for noise - rooms are above a great pub, we will ensure music is kept at a reasonable volume and will be turned off by midnight on weeknights & 1.30am on weekends
~ Pet(s) live on the property, and pub downstairs is dog-friendly
Additional rules: Self-check-in with smart lock, but bar staff downstairs may be able to assist during opening hours, for any problems that may arise
Cancellation policy:
Flexible - Free cancellation for 48 hours
For a full refund, cancellation must be made a full 24 hours prior to local check in time on the day of check in. For example, if check-in is on Friday, cancel by Thursday of that week before check in time.
If the guest cancels less than 24 hours before check-in, the first night is non-refundable.
