Terms & Conditions
Bed & Breakfast reservations (Summer)
For all Bed & Breakfast bookings, a valid VISA or MasterCard credit card information is required at the time of confirmation. We reserve the right to pre-authorize the credit card for the amount owing at the latest seven days before the stay. Following cancellation fees will apply:
Cancellations received at least eight days before arrival: no fees 
(except bookings more than six nights and except group bookings of three or more Chalets)
Cancellations received seven or fewer days before arrival: 100% of the total invoice
All Bed & Breakfast bookings with a stay of more than six nights and all group bookings for three or more Chalets require a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
Summer & Aurora Viewing package reservations (Year-round)
A 25% deposit is required six months before the stay for year-round packages and specials to secure the booking. The deposit can be paid by money transfer to Northern Lights Resort & Spa (e-transfer, wire transfer) or with a Visa / MasterCard. The outstanding balance will be due 60 days before the stay and will be charged to the credit card provided or must be paid by money transfer again. The deposit is refundable only if cancellation is made at least 61 days before arrival. The following cancellation fees will apply:
Cancellation received between 6 months to 61 days before arrival: $150 flat fee/person
Cancellation received between 60 or fewer days before arrival: 100% of the total invoice
Group bookings of three or more Chalets require a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
General Terms
Separate cancellation fees may apply for certain package elements that we reserve for you with other service providers, such as Air North airfares, Dog Sledding, Snowmobiling, Snowshoeing, etc., non-refundable.

We reserve the right to change itineraries if circumstances beyond our control require it.
Cancellations must be made by e-mail or regular mail only and confirmed by Northern Lights Resort & SPA in writing! Cancellations made by telephone will NOT be accepted.
Northern Lights Resort & Spa cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Acts of God, strikes, weather, pandemics, aircraft delays or other causes beyond its reasonable control. Northern Lights Resort & SPA will endeavour to provide all services as shown in the package description. However, all activities are subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled, postponed or changed at the sole discretion of Northern Lights Resort & SPA. In case of "force majeure" such as flight cancellations or delays, travel disruptions, weather delays or a force beyond its control, Northern Lights Resort & SPA is not liable to refund any money paid.

We highly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance to protect against cancellation penalties.
All Aurora Glass Chalets have one queen-size bed and can accommodate a maximum of 2 adult guests. The Alpine Chalet "Fireweed" has one King-size bed and can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. The Alpine Log Chalet "Enzian" has one queen-size bed and can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. Our Alpine Log Chalets "Arnika" and "Lupine" have two twin beds each and can accommodate a third person with a cot bed. We reserve the right to change your booked accommodation to a different one if the booking situation or circumstances beyond our control require it.
‘All Rates are in Canadian Dollars and subject to 5% GST and 7% Sustainability Charge.
Northern Lights Resort & SPA is a pet-free, smoke-free & drug-free Resort.
Payment Policy
Estas polÃticas de pago aplican para reservas directas (teléfono, correo, presencial en mostrador) en las que el cliente se ha comunicado al hotel para pedir que le realicen su reservación. El hotel puede pedir pagos anticipados para asegurar la reservación, las fechas de pago, y cantidad a pagar serán establecidas por el alojamiento. Si el cliente no hace el pago en el tiempo establecido será cancelada la reservación. Todo pago realizado no es rembolsable, al proceder con el pago estará aceptando las polÃticas y asumirá la responsabilidad de no devolución. Metodos de pago para reservas directas: depósito/transferencia/link de pago y efectivo. Si requiere factura porfavor envÃe cédula fiscal al correo: hola@hotelmarboka.com toda factura debe emitirse inmediatamente cuando se recibe un pago del cliente. No se expiden facturas de pagos de meses pasados.
