Dukes stands on Great Pulteney Street; one of the finest boulevards in the Heritage City of Bath. Built over 200 years ago, Dukes comprises of two very generously proportioned townhouses and has been engaged as a hotel and guesthouse for 100 years.

Our two Snug doubles, more contemporary in style, are tucked beneath the Georgian mansard roof, accessed via six flights of stairs. These ‘cosy’ bedrooms offer, three sided bed access, writing table, storage and a chair with en-suite shower facilities. These are our functional rooms, fit for purpose and with an emphasis on value for money. Most suitable for an overnight stay whilst on a shopping trip to Bath, a ‘stop over’ for the Rugby; horse racing or a peaceful sanctuary in preparation for a business meeting. The rooms offer restricted views of ‘Mary Poppins’ chimney pots. With access to all guest house facilities these rooms are ideal for one person or a happy, relaxed couple.

A third room has views over Great Pulteney Street. All three rooms have the convenience of an en-suite shower with the Abercorn on the ground floor offering greatest accessibility (suitable for guests with limited mobility). Debit or Credit Card details are required upon Reservation - payment is made on departure. We are unable to process AMEX.
Politique d'annulation
In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking, please inform us by email - info@dukesbath.co.uk - or by telephoning us on 01225 787 960. We will confirm by email by return. You need written acknowledgement from Dukes that we have received your cancellation request. If we do not contact you by return we would ask that you assume that we have not received your message.
A cancellation within 48 hours of your planned arrival date is likely to provoke a full charge being made to your card. We will however do our best to sell on your room - in which case this full charge would not be applicable.
A 'no show' for reasons within or beyond your control will result in a full charge to your card. In view of this we would encourage you to liaise with us in a clear, direct and timely manner.
We would advise that you give consideration to taking out travel insurance.
