The Edinburgh Lodge Hotel in Edinburgh was built in 1836 and was originally a manse house for the church next door. The Lodge has converted into a hotel around 30 years ago, but still incorporates the same stained glass window and symbols found in the church.

Please note that our reception is opened from 8:30am to 5:00pm 7 days a week.
Check-in is available after 2pm, 7 days a week.
Self Check-in is available if you are arriving late or if we are unavailable.
Key will be placed into a key box. We will send you all information either by phone / email.
Please inform the hotel at the earliest convenience should you be arriving out late to ensure that you have all information for self check-in.
VAT is included in all prices.
Towels are provided for in-hotel use.

We can cater for all food allergy types including Gluten free. Please specify your requirements at time of booking as well as on arrival to ensure everything is in place.
No allowances can be made for rooms not being occupied for the full period of the booking or for meals or any other supplements not taken.
The proprietor cannot be held responsible for cash or valuables unless they are deposited in the Hotel Reception and a receipt obtained.
The Hotel is up to date with its fire precautions and has been granted a fire certificate.
The costs of repairing any damage caused to the property, contents or grounds by any of your guests must be reimbursed to the Hotel by the Client. We have the right to charge the card used to make the booking to cover such costs.
Special offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, and if conditions are not met the standard tariff will apply.
Behaviour of guests and their visitors should not be excessive or rowdy, and must not cause embarrassment to fellow guests. We reserve the right to recover any compensation payment as a result of your actions, or a member of your party or visiting friends. This includes damage to hotel buildings, fixtures and fittings.
Please inform us before arrival if you are travelling in a group of six of more. We reserve the right to refuse unauthorized groups. Large groups may be required to provide an additional deposit at check-in, returnable on departure if unaffected. Should there be any inappropriate behaviour by the group after check-in we reserve the right to discontinue the reservation without refund.
The hotel operate a strict no smoking policy. If a guest smokes in their room a charge of £250 will be made to their credit/debit card in order to fumigate the room(s), at the discretion of the hotel management.
All parties including stag and hen parties are strictly forbidden at the hotel & Apartments. The hotel/Apartments is for accommodation purposes only. If any such parties are identified, all monies will be confiscated and booking will not be honoured.
USE OF YOUR DATA
By booking with us you give the Hotel full permission to use your contact information including email and telephone for promotional, marketing and correspondent purposes. All communications from us will come with an opt out option allowing yourself to be removed from further communications at any time.
Bookings must be made by a person over the age of 18. At least one guest staying in each room must be over 18 years of age. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation without refund when a guest cannot provide proof of age.
LUGGAGE HOLD SERVICE
The Hotel are able to hold your luggage at the hotel until 5pm on the day of checkout free of charge. If you wish to keep luggage at the hotel after this time there will be a £5 per item per day charge applied.
PARKING FACILITIES DURING RUGBY MATCHES
During the rugby matches, our car park is not available.
There are many parking spaces on street across the road in Wester Coates Road, free from 17:30 to 08:30 (Mon- Fri), Sat & Sun (All day).
All our guests use that parking during the rugby's week.
A credit card is required to confirm all reservations and a valid card must be supplied at check- in for all arrivals. We accept all major credit cards.
All guests are required to settle all outstanding balances before they leave. If balances are not settled prior to leaving the hotel they will be settled using your valid credit card left for your deposit.
NON REFUNDABLE ROOM RATE - The guest will be charged in Full Price if they cancel the booking anytime.
Non Refundable Room Rate - The guest will be charged in Full Price if they cancel the booking anytime.
Refundable Room Rate - The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival.
