Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully as you will be bound by them. A contract between you and Eight will come into existence upon the date upon which you reserve a room with us. Your contract is with Eight.

Check-in
Our check-in times are 3pm to 6pm. If you wish to arrive before 3pm please let us know and we will do our best to arrange for your room to be ready or alternatively hold your luggage for you while you make the most of your day in our beautiful city.
If you are likely to arrive after 6pm, please inform us and we can arrange a self check in for you.
If you are unable to inform us in advance or circumstances change, there is an intercom at the front door which connects you to a member of the team who will be able to arrange your check in.

Check-out is at 11am.

Booking Your Stay at Eight
Reserving a room at Eight is a breeze. Secure your stay online by using a valid credit or debit card. Please note that the card on the reservation will be utilised to process the payment for the reservation, following our cancellation policy.

We want to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible, and thus, we have some important considerations to keep in mind:

Age Restrictions - Eight is not suitable for children under 8 years of age. If you have children aged 8 or older, please consider our rooms designed for double occupancy.

Maximum Occupancy - Eighteen of our twenty rooms can comfortably accommodate up to 2 guests. We do have two triple rooms, room 2 (standard triple room) and room 14 (large family room), both on the first floor, which can accommodate up to 3 guests. We have one single room on the third room which can only accommodate one guest.

Pets Policy - While we appreciate the companionship of pets, we regret to inform you that only guide animals are allowed on our premises.

Accessibility - Due to the historical nature and layout of our property, we apologise as we are unable to provide accommodation for individuals with mobility issues. Our spiral staircase and absence of an elevator make accessibility challenging.

Finally, we'd like to emphasise that the entire property is designated as a non-smoking area. Smoking is strictly prohibited within the premises to ensure a clean and healthy environment for all guests.

Payment Policy

• Prices are in pound sterling and subject to change.
• We accept all major debit and credit cards, American Express.
• We do not accept cash payments.
• We reserve the right to preauthorise the credit/debit card on the reservation prior to arrival and charge the total cost of the reservation on the expiry of the free cancellation period. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation if the credit/debit card on the reservation is declined.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy for direct bookings only -

All cancellations must be in writing by email to info@eightinbath.co.uk. Sorry we cannot accept verbal cancellations.
Cancellations will be confirmed via email. If you do not receive a confirmation from us, kindly assume that we have not received your cancellation request.

Standard Bookings
• If the booking is cancelled 5 days prior to the date of check in, no charge will be applied.
• If booking is cancelled with less than 5 days notice, the full amount of the booking will be charged.

Non Refundable Bookings
• The payment for your stay will be processed on the day the booking is received or the following business day.
• We reserve the right to cancel the reservation if the credit/debit card on the reservation is declined.
• No modifications can be accepted once the reservation is confirmed, including changes to booking dates, the number of guests, or room category.
• In the event of a no-show, no refunds will be offered.

Winter Offer 2025 (Specific T&C apply)
• If the booking is cancelled, no refunds will be offered. The Winter Offer 2024 is a non-refundable cancellation policy.
If the booking is canceled 5 days or more prior to the check-in date, there will be no charge.

Please note that if you made your booking through a third-party booking agent or channel, you should refer to the cancellation policy provided by that agent or channel.

Booking directly with us grants you greater flexibility to amend or cancel your reservation, making it the most economical choice for guests who may need to make changes to their travel plans.
