The Farmhouse Desmuniere is a beautifully renovated 18th century farmhouse with traditional features and full of character. The chalet’s eight en suite bedrooms are split over 3 floors and can sleep 16 to 22 people. Most rooms can be made up into double, twin or triple. Each room is equipped with hot tub towels, toiletries, bathrobes, hairdryers and crisp white linin.
The open plan kitchen dining area allows you to have a sneak peek at what Chef Tom is preparing. Along with the main lounge there is a mezzanine equipped with a flat screen TV, DVD, Apple TV, Netflix and Nintendo.
The Farmhouse is situated 15 minutes’ walk to Morzine Town Centre where the majority of bars and restaurants are located (or a 5-minute bus ride). We offer mini bus lifts to and from the slopes in the mornings and afternoons, plus the free ski bus which operates every 10 minutes stops just outside the chalet. Connecting you to the high speed Prodains lift to Avoriaz in 10 minutes.
The Chalet also features a log fire, balcony views of Morzine, ski/boot room, sauna, sunken hot tub, free Wifi, a large off road private car par for up to six cars and a large garden set back from the road bordered by a fenced stream making a safe environment for children to play with our sledges in the snow.

Discounts and Special Offers

Price per person is based on 2 adults sharing a room
Sole Occupancy price is based on 16 people, for each additional person please add 600 Euros
For children aged 12 or under, the adult price is reduced by 50 Euros per child based on 2 children to a room or by 100 Euros per child if children are sharing parents' room.
Children under 2 stay free in parent's room (travel cots can be provided)
Single Adult Occupancy - additional 500 Euros

Check In and Out
Your chalet is available from 16.00 on your day of arrival. You will be welcomed by us and offered a welcome drink and will be shown to your rooms and around the chalet. If you are arrive before 16.00 then it is possible for us to store your luggage in the boot room. If you have decided to drive then it is also possible to park at the chalet and walk into Morzine to get your bearings.
Check out is by 10.00 on your day of departure. If you wish to ski/snowboard that day, or you are booked onto a later transfer, then we will again be able to store your luggage in the Sauna room and you can have use of the Sauna room shower.
Booking and paying for your holiday
If you wish to book the chalet then please email us your requirements and we will then forward our booking form and terms and conditions and also reiterate all the details that have been discussed so far either by email or phone. Once we have sent you the booking form, we will allocate 48 hours in order for you to return it. If you need longer than 48 hours then this will need to be discussed at the time of the booking process.
A deposit of 100 Euros per person is required to be paid by the group leader (if sole occupancy) or by the individual booking a room(s). The final payment is then due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.
Payment for the deposit and final balance must be paid by bank transfer into our French Euro Account. All payments received must be in Euros.

Terms and Conditions
Woodlands Chalets is the trading name of Woodland Chalets SARL, a limited company registered in France (registered number 841690902) and hereinafter called "Woodlands".
Woodlands hereby gives notice that:
The terms and conditions in this document together with your invoice and booking form comprise the agreement between Woodlands and all those listed on the booking form on whose behalf the group leader has signed. If the booking form is returned to us by email without a signature then the contract is still binding.
The contract is deemed to have been made at the point of dispatch of an unsigned invoice by email from our office.
The contract is governed by English law with any action under this contract being heard within the jurisdiction of English courts.
No representative of Woodlands has the authority to verbally vary the terms and conditions of information within this brochure or to enter into verbal agreements with customers of Woodlands.

Payment
Booking shall be made in writing on the booking forms and accompanied by a deposit of the amount stated on the booking form, together with the insurance premium if applicable. All deposits and insurance premiums are non-refundable except when we are unable to accept your booking, as a result of double booking.
Payment of the balance must be made no later than 8 weeks before departure date. For bookings within 8 weeks of the departure date the full cost of the holiday is payable immediately. Where payment is not made 8 weeks before departure date Woodlands reserves the right to immediately cancel the holiday without further notice and the deposits and insurance premiums shall be forfeited. Woodlands shall be entitled to claim from you any sums due up to the amount due under the terms of cancellation. Travel documents will be issued approximately 2 weeks before departure.

Brochure Description
All descriptions in this brochure are given in good faith on the information available to us and believed to be correct. The chalet is privately owned and does not have an official tourist classification. You should be made aware that in relation to the information given about the resorts and certain of the facilities we cannot guarantee accuracy at all times or that any particular activity will take place as these services are not under our control. Woodlands takes no responsibility for your personal belongings, money, travellers’ cheques or passport, either inside or outside the chalet.

Prices
We reserve the right to increase or decrease our prices at any time before your booking is accepted. The correct current price will be advised at the time of booking and may include any surcharge due to increase in government taxes or adverse changes in exchange rates. The price shown on your confirmation invoice will not be increased unless you amend the booking in any way after it is made. No surcharge will be imposed once your booking has been confirmed.

Alterations and/or Cancellation by Woodlands
We reserve the right to make minor alterations to holiday and brochure details before and after any bookings have been confirmed. In the case of a minor alteration being made we will advise you at the earliest possible date. In the event of a significant alteration to your booking with us, we will advise you at the earliest possible date. You may then accept the alteration or cancel your holiday and receive a full refund. Woodlands will pay no compensation.

In very rare circumstances it may be necessary for us to cancel the booking by you. If we do so you will receive a full refund of all the monies paid. Woodlands accepts no legal liability and no compensation will be paid if we are forced to cancel, curtail or in any way change your holiday due to circumstances beyond our control. These circumstances include, but are not limited to war, civil unrest, industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire, technical problems with transport, closure or congestion of airports or ports, adverse weather conditions and any other similar event. We accept no liability to compensate you for loss of opportunity to take or enjoy the holiday.

Woodlands Liability
Woodlands does not accept liability where there has been no fault on the part of Woodlands, its employees under its control and where the events complained of are due to the events which neither Woodlands nor its suppliers could have foreseen. In the event of any liability being accepted Woodlands shall not be liable for more than the cost of the holiday accommodation.
Woodlands will not arrange your travel by air, rail or sea. Accordingly, Woodlands cannot accept any responsibility for loss or injury suffered as the result of the acts or omissions of the providers of such services. Such arrangements are entirely your responsibility and you should ensure that they are made through a reputable provider.
If you have any reason for complaint during your holiday you must inform us immediately in order to allow Woodlands an opportunity to rectify the cause for complaint. Our representatives in the chalet are not authorised to promise any refund with respect to a client’s complaint. If the complaint cannot be rectified please write to Woodlands giving all the relevant details of the complaint within 28 days of your return from holiday. We cannot accept any Liability in respect of any complaint, which is not notified entirely in accordance with this clause.

Client Liability
Woodlands is entitled to recover from you the cost of any damage caused by you or loss suffered as a result of your acts or omissions. We expect you to behave in such away as not to prejudice our reputation with our suppliers, our neighbours or other clients of Woodlands. If this clause is breached Woodlands has the right to terminate the contract with you with immediate effect and demand the immediate vacating of the chalet.

Passports and Visas
You will require a valid full passport to travel to the chalet and this is your responsibility. If a visa is required it is your responsibility to obtain one.

Health
Before travelling you are advised to check with your own doctor for your own medical requirements.

Insurance
All persons booking a holiday are required to purchase insurance in order to cover the cost of cancellation by you and the cost of assistance and repatriation in the event of accident or illness. Insurance premiums must be in place at the time of booking. If you do not take out an insurance policy, Woodlands will not be responsible for any matters or consequences thereby arising. You will be further responsible for paying to and indemnifying Woodlands for such sums we meet on your behalf.

Resort Prices
Any prices given for equipment hire, instruction and ski passes are accurate based on the information available to us at the time of going to press, however, we cannot accept responsibility for any variation between that time and the date of your holiday.

Cancellation Policy

Any alterations made to the booking except additions to the existing booking within 8 weeks of departure shall be deemed to be a cancellation of the existing booking and the cancellation charges set out in these terms and conditions will be levied. It may also be necessary to levy a small charge to process any alterations.


Cancellations will only be effective when Woodlands Chalets receives written notice of cancellation by post, signed by the group leader.

Cancellation charges will be levied as follows:

More than 8 weeks - Deposit
- 4 to 8 weeks- 50%
- 2 to 4 weeks-75%
- Less than 2 weeks- 100%

In addition to the cancellation charge Woodlands Chalets reserves the right to pass on any charges made by the suppliers of any services booked by Woodlands Chalets on your behalf even when this exceeds the amount which would normally be charged under the scale of cancellation charges.
