Located downtown, this cozy five-room hostel sits inside of a gorgeous historic landmark home that has been celebrated in the Fort Collins community since 1905. The friendly and helpful staff at the Fernweh focuses on creating the best experience possible for guests, guiding them to all of the local favorites and customizing their trip to suit each specific guest.

Situated in Downtown Fort Collins, the Fernweh is within walking distance of unique cultural attractions, parks, vibrant nightlife, and countless restaurants and watering holes to suit anyone’s fancy. Walking around the Fernweh’s quaint residential neighborhood, you’ll find yourself smiling with the happy, friendly locals and seeing why Fort Collins has been rated the #1 city to live in in America. 2 blocks to Colorado State University, 4 blocks to City Park, 8 blocks to the Poudre River, and a short ride to Horsetooth Reservoir, Poudre Canyon, and Lory State Park, Fort Collins may make you never want to leave.

The Fernweh offers both private and shared rooms and prides itself on being exceptionally clean, safe, and comfortable. -Valid, state issued identification and credit card required at check-in.
-Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am.
-Outside linens are not permitted in the hostel. Please leave your sleeping bags, etc in your car or the garage.
-No smoking of any kind inside the hostel.
-The Fernweh Inn & Hostel is not responsible for personal belongings.
-The Fernweh Inn & Hostel reserves the right to charge a guest for any damages incurred, including lost keys ($15) and excessive cleaning ($20 minimum).
-Well-behaved dogs are allowed in private rooms only, for an additional $15/dog/night. You must inform staff prior to booking if you are bringing your dog with you. We will not be able to accommodate you otherwise. Please thoroughly read pet policy on website prior to your reservation.
-Be kind & respectful to fellow guests & staff and enjoy yourself!

Payment Policy

-Guests' credit cards will be charged up to 24 hours prior to arrival.
-Guest must have a valid credit card under their name to make reservation.
-Valid drivers license, passport or state issued identification required at check-in.
-Guest must pay for their stay themselves - No third party bookings or payments.

Cancellation Policy

-Cancellations must be made at least 5 days prior to your scheduled arrival, or 50% of your total reservation will be charged.
-No-shows & cancellations within 24 hours of your arrival date will be charged 100% of the reservation.
-Groups of 10 or more will be charged full price if the cancellation is made within 2 weeks of arrival. Within 30 days, 50% will be charged.
