Terms & Conditions

To book our caravans you must agree to abide by the following conditions:
1. We require a £100 non-refundable deposit per week per caravan booked, which is part of the holiday cost. The deposit should be made by bank transfer unless another agreement is made with us. The holiday is NOT secured until this payment is received.
2. The balance of the holiday cost including the damage bond of £100 is due in FULL 8 weeks prior to the holiday start date. If FULL payment is not made in this time frame, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday and hire the caravan to someone else.
3. Bookings taken with less than 8 weeks remaining until holiday start date will be required to make payment in FULL including the £100 damage bond.
4. We also require at the time of the full balance payment a £100 damage bond (£50 per adult for over 18s breaks). This damage bond is fully refundable at the end of the holiday after inspection of the caravan, however we reserve the right to withhold some or the entire bond and/or bill the hirer for the additional cost of a) replacing and/or repairing all damage b) all breakages c) charge for cleaning the caravan or removing stains or replacing as new. This will be refunded to you as long as no problems with the caravan within 7 days of your departure.
5. Any alteration/amendment to the booking after payment has been made will incur a £10 charge.
6. Bookings will only be accepted from hirers one of which must over the age of 21 years. No same sex groups permitted as per Butlin’s rules (Families and Couples only) the exception of this is adult over 18 weekends.
7. Only the names listed by yourself on the booking form are permitted to stay at the caravan which have been agreed by us. Over occupancy will not be tolerated and you will be asked to vacate the caravan with no reimbursement of any money paid including the damage bond.
8. If you wish to make any changes to your booking prior to your holiday you must put this in writing to us beforehand and this must be agreed by us before your holiday start date.
9. The lead name on the booking signs to these terms and conditions and is also responsible for the conduct of all persons listed on the booking form.
10. The hirer must give access to the holiday caravan as and when required by us, holiday park owners and their staff/agents.
11. Each person listed on the booking form and any guests/visitors you have during the day must be prepared to identify themselves to the park owners, caravan owners or staff upon request and comply with their reasonable requirements.
12. We reserve the right to refuse any booking without any obligation to give a reason and/or reserve the right to terminate any booking for whatever reason at our absolute discretion.
13. In the event of a cancellation by the hirer, the hirer must confirm this in writing. Please bear in mind deposits are not refundable or transferable in the event of cancellation. Should a cancellation be made prior to payment of the full balance, only the £100 deposit will be forfeited. If a cancellation is made after the full amount has been paid (8 weeks prior to the holiday) then all monies will be forfeited.
14. No refund will be made to the hirer whose hiring has commenced and who vacates the caravan for any reason including an emergency home.
15. Each holiday caravan has its own check in time dependant on spec of caravan booked, this will be notified to you in the confirmation letter that is sent to you after full payment has been received.
16. All caravans must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. If the caravan is not vacated at this time, therefore not allowing cleaning/checking staff to access the caravan an additional charge will be deducted from your damage bond.
17. In the case of a maintenance problem, the hirer shall contact us (the owner/letting agent) at the earliest opportunity. DIY repairs under no circumstance are to be carried out by the hirer. If the hirer carries out any such repairs the damage bond will be affected.
18. No PETS are allowed unless by prior arrangement with the owner.
19. Absolutely NO SMOKING in the caravans is permitted this includes electronic cigarettes.
20. The caravan is to be left in a clean and tidy condition ready for the next holiday makers/owners and ready for inspection by staff. If this is not adhered to the damage bond will be affected.
21. Holiday park owners and caravan owners do not accept liability for any loss or damage to the hirer’s property and/or accidents, injuries, illness, diseases, arising from the hire of the caravan or use of the holiday park, including acts of god or extreme weather conditions.
22. Butlins do occasionally use the car park areas in front of some caravans for events or caravan movements around the park, which may obscure some views/sea views. When we are aware of any events we will inform the hirer in advance, but as we have no control of the car park areas, we will not refund any payment that has been made.
23. It is recommended that you purchase some form of holiday insurance, from your local broker, to cover your personal luggage, personal money, holiday cancellation, personal & public liability etc.
24. The area surrounding the caravan must be kept clean and tidy at all times. Please remove dirty footwear on entering the caravan.
25. Each caravan has 1 allocated parking space any further caravans can be taken to the caravan to unload but must then be parked in the main Butlins car park.
26. The use of barbecues is permitted but please keep them away from the van and decking areas.
27. Duvets and pillows are provided but please bring your own bottom sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers unless linen option is purchased.
28. Should accommodation booked become unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, a full refund will be given. Alternative accommodation can be offered where possible to the same value.

The following procedures are now being followed by owners/rental agents as from 25th May 2018
For your peace of mind, please be aware that we are following strict rules called “data protection principles”
We make sure that your information is :-
• used fairly and lawfully
• used for limited, specifically stated purposes
• used in a way that is adequate, relevant and not excessive
• accurate
• kept for no longer than is absolutely necessary
• handled according to people’s data protection rights
• kept safe and secure
• not transferred outside the European Economic Area without adequate protection

IF YOU ARE ASKED TO VACATE THE CARAVAN/HOLIDAY PARK BY THE HOLIDAY PARK OWNERS, STAFF OR CARAVAN OWNERS FOR ANY REASON WHAT SO EVER, THE CARAVAN OWNERS WILL NOT REFUND ANY MONEY PAID.
