Greenbriar Inn
The Greenbriar Inn was built in 1908 as a boarding house. it is situated within walking distance of the downtown strip and the lake.
We now have 7 single queen guest rooms, four of which are quite large, and three which are of a regular bedroom size.
All of our guest rooms have private bathrooms and personal, mini-split heat and A/C.
All of the rooms are unique but 2 have very unique features. The Ballroom Suite or Rm #7 has a claw foot tub with a cradled sprayer ONLY. No shower. The Innkeeper's Room or #6 has a private bathroom BUT it is 3 steps away in the common hallway. The other 5 rooms are what you might consider mainstream ;)
Because of the age of the building, we do not have an elevator. You must be able to climb stairs to your guest room.
Finally, all guests that book with us will receive a COMPLEMENTARY gift card to our restaurant / craft cocktail lounge "315 Cuisine" This voucher / gift card may be used Wednesday - Sunday 4 PM. to close. The Gwendolen Suite (#1) Book
The Gwendolen Suite is on the second floor, and is the largest of our guest rooms with its own private balcony that has views of our lake, our garden, gazebo and our decks. With a modern shower, and refurbished antiques it is light and airy. A roomy couch and mission style glass lamp fixtures, as well as an armoire from the mid 1800's which serves its duty still as a closet for our guests. This room has a personal Mini-Split for heat and A/C comfort.

The Church Suite (#5)
The Church Suite (#5) Book
This third floor bedroom is a favorite for many. It's special feature is the "half moon" window overlooking the street below, and provides a seasonal view of changing foliage in our four seasons climate through the 60 foot maple trees that border the front of the house. The room has dormer cielings, a window seat and "cubby" for storage as well as some comfortable seating for reading or just relaxing with a glass of wine. The bed features a four poster style bed, and the furniture is of an ecclectic antique and decorative style. There is a shower in the room, sink in the room, and toilet in the closet! Yes, the closet. We have adapted modern plumbing to each bedroom and are limited to what is available in this historic house that was once a boarding house. The third floor was actually used as "apartments" from the early 1920's on, so each room had a closet and sink area, which was unusual for homes of the 1900's era. This room has a personal Mini-Split for heat and A/C comfort.

This cozy room on the third floor has a queen bed and a private bath, across the hall from the room. It is a small bathroom with a shower. The room includes a very nice kitchenette with microwave, fridge, coffee maker, tea pot, wine fridge, sink and storage cabinets. There is a nice skylight in the room, as well as a TV, plus an armoire, and high boy for your clothes. Our guests report that it is very homey and comfortable. It is great for people staying for several nights as well. This room has a personal Mini-Split for heat and A/C comfort.

This third floor bedroom is one of our larger bedrooms. Situated at the back of the house, it is quiet and cozy with a window seat, dormer ceilings, cubby for storage, closet, and sink in the room. This room has a personal Mini-Split for heat and A/C comfort. It also features a queen bed and private bath which is a clawfoot tub with a cradled sprayer. There are trays available if you wish to use them for this purpose. This room features Eastlake style antiques, a charming style of furnishings popular in the Victorian Era, or late 1800's.

Terms & Conditions
Upon booking with us you have agreed to our policies. In addition to our cancellation and payment policies, the following applies:
No pets are allowed on the property and no smoking is allowed in the rooms.
Because we have one queen bed in each room we are suitable only for two people per room. Should you need to leave early there will be no refund for early departures. Guests will be charged for items damaged or taken from room such as robes, hairdryers, etc. Furthermore, remediation fees could arise as a result of
extraordinary cleaning measures needed due to I.E, cigarette smoke, vomit etc.
You will be charged the morning of your arrival. We do require a credit card to guarantee your deposit.
Our cancellation policy is that you must cancel prior to 5 days of your arrival. If cancelled less than 5 days of arrival, you will be charged for one night. We will always attempt to re-book your room and refund you room fees. A $45 administration fee may apply during this instance.

Payment Policy
Payments will be automatically processed. Charges may apply anytime after the free cancelation period ends and the day of check in. We do require a credit card to hold the room for you.
Cancellation Policy
Guest must notify us 5 days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee. No Shows or failure to provide 5 days may result in the equivalent of 1 night's stay. In the cases when we are able to rebook your room and offer a refund, a $45 administration fee may apply.
