Terms & Conditions

Check In:
Check in starts at 3pm. Early arrivals, you are welcome to store bags at office and use hotel amenities until your room is ready. Minimum check in age is 21.

Check Out:
Check out is at 11am. However, please feel free to utilize hotel amenities and store your bags with us for the remainder of the day. All unapproved late check outs are subject to an additional fee.

Beach Parking Permits:
A limited number of complimentary beach parking permits are available upon request on a first-come-first-served basis. They can be used to park at most beaches in Montauk. Please don’t lose them as they cannot be replaced. An additional $375 fee will be charged for all missing passes.

Pet Policy:
We welcome one pet up to 60 lbs per room for an additional fee of $75 per night. Both cats and dogs are accepted but pets may no be left unattended in the room at any time.

Pool and Beach towels:
Complimentary towels are left in your room for use during your stay. Any missing towels will be charged to the credit card on file at a rate of $50 per towel.

Crib Rentals:
Cribs (Pack ‘n Play) are complimentary, depending on availability. Please request when making reservation. Otherwise they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. An additional fee will be applied to your credit card on file per each unreturned, damaged or lost crib. Cribs are to be used at your own risk. Haven Montauk and all affiliates are not responsible for injury or death.

Bikes:
Complimentary bicycles are available on a first-come-first-served basis. THEY ARE TO BE USED AT YOUR OWN RISK. Please check to make sure the bike is in perfect working order before renting. Bicycles must be locked when left unsupervised. An additional fee will be charged for all missing and damaged bikes.

Paddle Boards:
Complimentary paddle boards are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Paddle boards are strictly for use in the bay opposite the hotel. THEY ARE TO BE USED AT YOUR OWN RISK. They are not to be loaded into cars or taken to other beaches for any reason. An additional fee will be charged for all missing paddle boards.

Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed inside the hotel rooms or interior common areas. Guests smoking inside the rooms will be charged an extra night’s fee while we return the room to a non-smoking status.

Damages:
Please inspect your room on checking in. Any damage or lost hotel property items caused by you, your guests, your child or your dog will be charged to your credit card on file.

Unaccompanied Minors: You must be over 21 years of age to make a reservation. Children under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We are not responsible for the supervision of minors.

POOL POLICIES:
NEVER SWIM ALONE. A minimum of two adults, 18 years of age or older, must be present whenever this swimming facility is in use, with at least one adult remaining on the pool deck.
Only use the pool facility during posted hours of operation.
Do not drink alcohol and swim.
THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ADEQUATE SUPERVISION. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied to the bathing facility by a parent or guardian, (an adult who is responsible for the children and their behavior.)
IN AN EMERGENCY, NOTIFY THE FACILITY OPERATOR AND CONTACT HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Haven Montauk is proud to provide exemplary service and facilities but please be reminded that our pool, fire pit, complimentary grills, and common areas ARE TO BE USED AT YOUR OWN RISK. There are no lifeguards present at any time and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in their party. We are not responsible for personal injury. We are not responsible for lost or stolen property.

Payment Policy

Listed rates are guidelines only.
Rates are subject to change without notice and are determined at time of reservation depending on availability. .

Two night minimum stays apply on most reservations unless otherwise stated. • Holidays or weekends. 3 night minimum stays apply on holidays.

Taxes & Service Charges:
A tax of 11.675% (which includes a 3% Hotel Tax) will be applied. • Incidental charges, if any, are additional.

Cancellation Policy

Low Season Reservations May - September after Labor Day Weekend.
A full deposit is required at the time of booking. Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund of the deposit.

High Season Reservations June, July & August
A full deposit is required at the time of booking. Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund of the deposit.

We do not under any circumstances offer penalty free cancellations for inclement weather or cancelled fishing trips.

All no-shows and reservations cut short will be charged in full.

Reservations made on 3rd party booking sites have independent cancellation policies. If you did not book your reservation through www.havenmontauk.com or directly through our office then please check the 3rd party website for the applicable cancellation policy.

Please note: We are a small seasonal property and cannot under any circumstances change this policy. If you are concerned with this policy we highly recommend purchasing travelers insurance from an independent company
