Terms & Conditions

Hurtwood Inn Bar & Restaurant is a separate business to Hurtwood Hotel Bed & Breakfast. The Hurtwood Inn stop serving food at 9pm, and 7pm on Sunday. If you wish to eat in the Bar or Resturant, reservations are nescesarry. You can either book thorough us or by contacting the Inn directly on 01306731769 or info@hurtwoodinn.com.

You can check in to your room between 3pm & 8pm - unless otherwise arranged at the time of booking. If you will be arriving after 8pm please notify us as soon as possible. Check out during the week is by 10am, and by 11am on Saturday & Sunday - A charge of £10 will be added to your bill if a late check out occurs without notice. If you arrive early please be aware that your room may not be ready. You are welcome to leave luggage but we do urge guests to arrive after 3pm.

Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.

If you require a taxi during your stay we strongly suggest arranging this beforehand due to the hotels rural location; 'Waverley Cars 01483 385858, A.B.R Taxis' (Ewhurst) 07944 217839, ‘Cranleigh Taxis’ (Cranleigh) 01483 277223.

The nearest train station to Peaslake is ‘Gomshall’ which is a 10 minutes drive. If you need to travel by train, and don't have access to a car we advise booking a taxi to bring you to the hotel from the station in advance.

Please note that Surrey Hills Inns Ltd (Hurtwood Hotel) reserves the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the hotel during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.

Payment Policy

To secure your reservation, we take a 25% deposit which will be debited from your card details entered at time of booking.
The outstanding amount becomes payable upon check-out.
If your reservation was made through an online travel agent please refer to their individual payment policies as our terms and conditions may differ.

To settle an amount via BACS please see the details below and use the company name/guest name as reference.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to come and stay please contact us at least 30 days prior to your arrival date for a refund of the 25% deposit.
If you cancel your stay with less than 30 days notice before your arrival date, then your deposit will not be refunded.
If you cancel your booking with less than 7 days notice before your arrival date then you will be charged 50% of your entire booking.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours before your arrival date or don't show, then you will be charged the entire amount of your booking.

For group or single reservations in peak periods, Hurtwood Hotel reserve the right to increase the time required to cancel your room(s). Cancellation of stays that fall in the low and shoulder period will be at the Manager's discretion.

If you have booked through an online travel agent, please refer to the cancellation policy on their website.

A separate cancellation policy applies when booking all rooms and will be advised separately.
