Terms & Conditions

COVID-19 Rules: Please respect the 2 metre physical distancing that is in effect. Camping bathrooms will be open to camping guests only, please use sanitizer provided on all surfaces after each use. Use the Jewel Bay playground, benches, picnic tables, and BBQ’s at your own risk.

Check in: Please text (250) 463-0977 twenty minutes prior to your arrival and upon arrival. For returning guests, you may go straight to your cabin, the key will be left on the kitchen table. For new guests, you may collect your key and map to your cabin/ RV site at the office door.
Check-out: Please ensure you have complied with cleaning and trash procedures prior to your departure. Then send text message to (250) 463-0977 to inform us that you are leaving; lock your cabin, and leave your key on the hook outside the sliding door of office.

We realize that these procedures can be tedious, so we thank you for your cooperation in keeping this a safe place to visit during COVID-19.

Please follow these simple guidelines to help ensure all our guests have an enjoyable stay at Jewel Bay Resort.
1. No pets allowed on Jewel Bay Resort property. ($50 fine for every unauthorized pet.)
2. Glass bottles are not permitted outside on Jewel Bay property. You may use them in your cabins, but must take empties with you upon check out, as they are not permitted in either garbage or recycling bins. ($50 fine.)
3. Empty cans, bottles, and trash are not to be left in common areas, or on the ground.
4. Keep all common areas clean.
5. Peanut shells & “Spitz” are not permitted on the property. ($50 fine.)
6. Campfires are only permitted on the property in designated areas, provided there is not a campfire ban issued. Campfires must not be left unattended. Use water from the provided hose to put out the fire (do not use sand), and it must be completely out before leaving.
7. Blue dumpster bin is for garbage, no glass is permitted. Please ensure your garbage is in a sealed garbage bag before placing it in the bin, to avoid attracting bears, wasps, ants, and rodents.
8. White dumpster bin beside blue bin is for recycling, no glass permitted. DO NOT leave empties sitting in front of the bin- please lift the lid and put them inside.
9. No smoking in cabins. All cigarette butts must be disposed of properly, not in fire pits, on the beach, or on the grass.
10. WiFi is available at no charge to all guests.
11. Cabins/ campsites and surrounding common areas are to be left clean upon check out to receive full deposit refund.
12. Cabins must have following done upon check out: swept floors, garbage and recycling taken out and disposed of properly, soiled towels placed in shower, unused towels left folded on counter, all counters wiped down, fridge and freezer emptied and wiped down, cooktop and oven emptied and wiped down.
13. Please avoid additional FEES by complying with the above requests.
14. Guests must respect fellow guests by limiting use of foul language around minors; by keeping noise level to a "hush" between 11pm and 8am; by keeping alcohol consumption within your cabin/ campsite area (use a plastic cup if outside your cabin or camping area); by smoking cigarettes away from other guests; and by walking off property to consume/ smoke any marijuana.

Payment Policy

All reservations must be paid in full at time of booking and are non-refundable. (see Cancellation Policy)

All one and two bedroom cabins are charged a mandatory $75 cleaning fee per stay that covers ONLY basic cleaning (toilets, showers, floors, laundry); cabin 14 and cabin 19 have mandatory cleaning fees of $125 and $175 respectively. Guests are expected to leave their cabins clean upon check out, according to specifications listed in Terms and Conditions.

All cabin rentals require a $250 damage/cleaning deposit, which is fully refundable if the accommodations and surrounding areas of the property are left in the same condition they were at check in.
All campsite rentals require a $50 cleaning/damage deposit that applies to surrounding camping area and camping bathrooms.

Cancellation Policy

All reservations must be paid in full at time of booking.
Cancellations made BEFORE the 60 days prior to your stay are entitled to a 100% refund.
Cancellations made AFTER the 60 days and up to the 30 days prior to your stay, will be refunded 50% of your stay ON THE CONDITION that the room or campsite was successfully re-sold to another customer.
