The Kona Kai Motel, one of Sanibel's friendliest motels, is located in a Hawaiian garden setting. Our sanibel vacation rentals include MOTEL rooms, EFFICIENCIES and SUITES. The suites, accommodating up to four people, make it perfect for the family. The motel is conveniently located for shopping and dining so you can easily walk or bike to many of the island destinations.
We have the added the attraction of the Olde Sanibel River at our doorstep for relaxing or fresh water fishing. Our large inviting pool is just one of the many amenities we offer. All of this and we boast some of the most reasonable rates on Sanibel Island.

Terms & Conditions
The office is staffed from 9:30-4:00. We do not have a 24 hour front desk. If you have an emergency while you are at our property please call the number that is provided in the office.
Check in begins at 3 P.M. and Check out is no later than 10 A.M. We ask that you honor these times, so we have the time necessary to clean the accommodations for the next guests. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in adhering to these times.
Check-ins after 4: There will be a board hanging at the office with the check-ins for that day. Please find your name and room number. Your room will have and envelope on the door with your name on it . Your room will be unlocked and the key will be inside. Please sign the registration form and leave in the green bin to right of office door.
We do not have daily housekeeping, however guests may be financially responsible for excessive garbage/rubbish left as a result of the guests own negligence.
Please no smoking in the accommodations. Please do so on your porch or the common areas throughout the property.
We do not offer daily maid service, however fresh towels are in the office and linens are available upon request.
Some rooms include 2 burner hotplate and some include an oven.
Please, no pets. Only service pets. If you have a service pet, you must call our office prior to your arrival date. We have service pet specific rooms. If you do not call our office prior to your arrival date, you will be charged a $50 non-refundable pet fee per day.
If you have more than the allotted number of guests in your room, you will be charged $20 per person per day. NON - REFUNDABLE.
Guests may only have ONE car on property, all others will be towed. You will be charged you will be charged $20 per car per day. NON - REFUNDABLE. You will be financially responsible for towing or parking in non-parking areas. Please put parking pass on dashboard so it is visible to staff. Limited parking does not allow space for trailers or RVs or boats. Please park large vehicles in rear parking lot.
We reserve the right to change accommodations or refuse service for any unregistered guests.
No refunds for early check outs.
Minimum age requirement is 25.
NOTICE TO GUESTS:
• This property is privately owned.
• The management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
• The management will not be responsible for accidents or injuries to guests.
• The management cannot be responsible for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.
• Guest agrees to terms in confirmation letter.
• We reserve the right to change accommodations or refuse service for any unregistered guests.
• **NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY CHECKOUTS**
• Guests shall indemnify for any damage to the units, grounds, furnishings, equipment and household items therein, which occurs during the guest’s period of occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear.
• We do not have daily housekeeping; however, guests may be financially responsible for excessive garbage/rubbish left as a result of the guests own negligence.
• Guests understand that any damage which is discovered to exist, or which occurs during guest’s occupancy, should be reported at the earliest possible time to the rental office.

Your credit card will be charged a one day deposit within 24 hours of making a reservation.
Balance due on arrival.
All reservations are subject to 14.5% state, local tax and resort fees.
All reservations subject to a $10 Sanitation Fee.
There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
Cancellation notice is required 30 days prior to check in. A cancellation within 30 days of check in will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, we suggest purchasing traveler’s insurance for your protection. This can be done online at www.insuremytrip.com or any other travel site you wish.
