A. BOOKINGS

Tourism tax
‍The tourism tax, which includes both city and district mandatory taxes, will be calculated per person per night and added to the total room price. The exact amount of this tax can be found on our website at www.novieta.com. In 2024, no tourism tax will be applied.

‍Accommodation bookings and quote
‍Bookings can be made online at www.novieta.com. Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking. You agree to pay the rate for each night of your stay and any additional charges up until the time you have departed the accommodation. To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 18 years of age. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set-out within. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at our express permission. If you wish to make changes or cancellations to your reservation, please contact our reservations team: reservation@lanovieta.com. Please note that modifications to bookings may be subject to applicable fees, and availability is not guaranteed.

Maximum allowed guests and unregistered guests
Double rooms are for two persons only, no extra beds can be added. It is strictly prohibited to invite unregistered guests into the accommodations or the hotel. La Novieta boutique hotel is not suitable for group events such as celebrations, bachelor parties, etc. We offer an intimate and cozy atmosphere so guests can relax after a long day of exploring the city; therefore, parties are not allowed. Violation of these policies may result in penalties of €200 or exclusion from the hotel without the possibility of reimbursement. Any damages or theft caused by unregistered guests will be charged to the client.

‍Payment policy
Full payment (“prepaid amount”) is required at the booking. The booking might be canceled automatically if the pre-payment is not received within two days of making the booking.

‍Deposit
As a guest at La Novieta Boutique Hotel, you agree to treat our property, including artwork, furniture, sheets, and towels, with care and respect. In the event of any damages, stains, or excessive wear and tear caused by your actions or those of your guests during your stay, you may be liable for associated repair or replacement costs. To ensure the protection of our property and the comfort of future guests, we reserve the right to charge a security deposit upon check-in. The security deposit will be pre-authorized on your credit card or collected in cash, and the amount will be communicated to you upon check-in.The security deposit will be held until the conclusion of your stay. After your departure and a thorough inspection of the accommodations, any applicable charges for damages, stains, or excessive wear and tear will be deducted from the security deposit. If the total charges exceed the deposit amount, you will be responsible for covering the remaining balance. Please note that normal wear and tear are excluded from this policy. We understand that accidents can happen, and minor wear and tear that occurs during regular use of our facilities will not result in charges. However, any damages, stains, or excessive wear and tear beyond what is considered reasonable may incur charges.

‍Cancellation policy
‍For the most up-to-date information regarding our cancellation policy, kindly refer to your email confirmation. We want to ensure that you have the most accurate and current details to guide you in case your plans change. Your email confirmation will provide you with the latest insights on our cancellation policy.
When booking 2 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply.These conditions apply to individuals, excluding corporate events or professional privatizations of the place for which confirmation is final.‍

‍Accepted means of payments
‍We accept payment via MasterCard, Visa credit/debit cards, American Express, and cash. Unfortunately, we do not accept foreign currency. For online bookings, full payment is required at the time of booking. Failure to make the prepayment within two days may result in automatic cancellation of your reservation.

‍Refunds
There will be no refunds for early departures, for breakdowns of air conditioner, heater, appliances, etc, if said breakdown is due to weather and /or other conditions over which the house owner has no control. Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy. In addition to the conditions mentioned, we reserve the right to consider exceptional cases for refunds, but such decisions will be made at our discretion.

‍B. ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

‍Check-in - Our standard check-in time begins at 15:00 (3 pm). We will make every effort to accommodate earlier or later check-ins when arranged in advance. For late check-ins between 22:00 and 23:59, a fee of 30 euros might apply, and a fee of 50 euros applies for check-ins after midnight, as we do not have a reception desk operating 24/24. If early check-in is not possible, you are welcome to store your luggage with us while you explore or relax in our lounge or patio.

‍Check-out – Check-out time is before 11:00 (am) on the day of departure. If you require a later check-out, please inform us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Late check-outs may be subject to additional charges.

‍Lost key or damage to locks– The cost for replacement of lost room keys or damaged locks is applicable and a total amount of 60EUR for lost keys and 150EUR for lock replacement to be paid immediately.

‍C. HOTEL RULES ‍

‍Child policy
‍We aim to create a tranquil atmosphere at La Novieta to ensure an enjoyable experience for all our guests. Therefore, we do not recommend our hotel for children under the age of 18. In such cases, please be aware that some areas of the premises may present safety hazards for unsupervised children. Please note that we do not assume liability for accidents.

Pets policy
No pets will be allowed in the guesthouse.

WiFi
Where WiFi Internet access is provided, guests accept to use this access to the Internet fairly and appropriately. The Internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to the world wide web, email, messaging, social media, light video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads / uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is not prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.

‍Breakfast
Breakfast is optional and served in the living room or the outdoor patio between 09h00 and 10h30, unless otherwise requested. An extra fee of EUR 20,00 per day per person will be asked.

‍Smoking
Smoking is completely forbidden inside the Boutique Hotel but ashtrays are provided in the private patio. If there is any evidence of smoking inside rooms you will be charged an additional €250 for a specialised clean to eliminate odours.

‍Flammable, explosive or otherwise hazardous materials Objects emitting a foul odourUnregistered firearms or other weapons Objects of an unusually large size or in unusually large quantities Articles related to use in gambling, prostitution, smuggling or other illicit actsIllegal drugs or other articles, the possession of which is prohibited by the laws of Spain.

‍Valuables, security and storage
A safe-deposit box is available at the reception of the Hotel.
Although the Boutique Hotel management takes responsibles steps to ensure the safety and security of all guests and their possessions, guests retain final responsibility for their own safety and security.
- Keep rooms locked at all times when absent.
- Please do not use guest rooms for business activities or for any purposes other than accommodation use, without the consent of the Boutique Hotel owners.

Toilets
No cigarette buds, cotton buds, tampons, sanitary pads or any other material, other than toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet. Charges will occur for any blockage.

‍D. GENERAL
Parties or gatherings are strictly prohibited unless prior arrangements have been made with our team. Because we have several guests, we ask you to respect each other concerning cleanliness of the common areas and noise level. If we receive complaints, you will be given a warning. Further complaints are subject to the termination of stay with no refund. We reserve the right to end a reservation if a guest becomes a disturbance/nuisance to others including management. Please respect the hotel and its occupants.

‍Your Liabilities
Any damage to the property or its content should be reported immediately upon arrival to Owners/ Management. Failing to do so, guests will be held liable for any damage to the property or content.– We will hold you responsible for any damage or loss caused to our property by your acts or omissions, default, accident or neglect. By booking with us you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand an amount reasonably required to make good or to rectify such damage or loss caused by you. Normal wear and tear are excluded.

‍Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients be insured against possible cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, loss or theft of personal belongings etc.C.

E. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
‍La Novieta Boutique Hotel cannot be held liable if any of the following events or conditions prevents the Hotel from fulfilling its obligation to guests. However, the Hotel will take necessary steps to minimize disruption and discomfort to guests under these conditions:* Unanticipated interruption to electricity, water, sewage to and from the Hotel;* Industrial actions, civil uprising or criminal activity;* Fire, frost, flooding, wind or any other force major event. Guests agree on behalf of themselves and the members of their parties that neither the establishment, its owners, employees nor agents shall be responsible for any injury or death of any person or the loss or destruction of or damage to any property upon the premises, whether arising from fire, theft or any cause and by whomsoever caused or arising from the negligence (gross or otherwise) or wrongful act of any person in the employment of the Boutique Hotel.

F. BREACH OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Guests are reminded that any breach of these terms and conditions may result in financial liability, including the cost of damages. We reserve the right to evict guests without notice in cases of serious breaches. You hereby authorize us to debit your credit card or apply your refundable deposit in payment of that loss or damage.

G. ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
‍We are committed to protecting the environment, and we encourage our guests to join us in this effort. Please help us conserve resources by following our environmental guidelines, such as:* Switching off lights, A/C when not in use;* Ensuring that taps are always turned off after use;* Avoiding the unnecessary use of towels;* We will sort the recyclable rubbish collected from guest rooms i.e. paper, plastic, metal and glass;* We thank you in advance for your comprehension and co-operation.

H. DATA PROTECTION & SECURITY
‍We take the privacy and security of your data seriously. Personal information collected during the booking process will only be used for that purpose. We do not share your data with third parties unless required for booking processing.
