Property Information
Maison De Terre
Located on the outskirts of the quaint town of Cedaredge, on the southern slope of the Grand Mesa, Maison de Terre is a unique artisan-built adobe house. The home is constructed by the owners of natural local materials. Situated at 7000 feet, the panoramic views from the house include three mountain ranges, the mesa, and with dark night skies, an unlimited galaxy. We offer the green room for our guests. It features a sandstone floor, plastered adobe and stone walls, an attached bathroom, and ceiling logs reclaimed from a local log cabin. The south wall, mostly windows opens with French doors to a private patio. In addition to the green room, if your group needs more space or beds, we offer the blue room as an add-on. Both rooms feature queen-sized beds. Expect to start your day with a superb home cooked breakfast included in the cost of the room. We welcome all travelers and their pets.

Terms & Conditions
We will do everything possible to make your stay most enjoyable. To ensure you will have a very pleasant experience at Maison de Terre Bed and Breakfast, we have established the following policies. Please take a few minutes to review these policies, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Check-in is anytime after 2:00 PM the day of your reservation. We do not have an active desk so it is helpful if you can let us know about when you expect to arrive. You can text or voice works best as we don't actively monitor our email all day. We understand planning and predicting arrival times is sometimes difficult. We are willing to work with you.
Breakfast Room
The Breakfast Room is another area provided for you to relax, read a good book, sit and visit with friends and family. It is a shared room by all guests. We have a fairly robust library including atlases and maps of the areas around Cedaredge. There is also a microwave oven, a refrigerator, and a coffee machine available for our guests. There is a fireplace in the the room
Breakfast: 7:00-9:00 AM
A full breakfast is served in the Breakfast Room between 7:00 and 9:00 AM (exact time by arrangement). Self service coffee always available in the Breakfast Room. Our menu varies from day to day. We remain flexible, just visit with us if you need a “to go,” earlier breakfast time, or if you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, or food preferences so we can make your breakfast a pleasurable experience and try to meet your needs. We can serve a gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegetarian Breakfast to anyone who needs it. Please let us know if you do not desire breakfast so we can avoid any unnecessary waste.
Smoking:
We don’t allow smoking anywhere in the house. If you have to smoke, you will need to walk far enough from the house that we will never be able to tell. If you choose to smoke in the house we will access a $100.00 cleaning fee.

Cable TV
We do not have TV’s available, but you are welcome to bring your own screen and stream movies or videos using the free Wi-fi connection.
Children
Please call to discuss our children's policy. Our rooms are designed for 2 persons per room. If you have small children that can sleep in your bed or on a sleeping pad in your room, we can supply a pad and some blankets. If they need their own space, your children will be treated like a regular adult guest. We can accommodate up to 4 guest (two queen beds in separate rooms.
Pets:
We are pet-friendly having pets having our own pets, a cat and eight fish. If you cannot tolerate pets in the same house, we may not be a good fit, otherwise, our pets are friendly, and we welcome your pets as well. We are not a pet boarding house so you will have to feed, take care of, and clean up after your own pets. Any damage done by unruly animals will be treated the same as if their care takers misbehaved.
Payment Policy
Room rates include double occupancy and a full breakfast. A 20% deposit will be charged to your credit card at the time of making your reservation. The balance will be charged to you after you arrive at Maison de Terre.
Cancellation Policy
Each guest’s reservation is important to us; we understand that vacations are hard to plan in advance. We also realize that “life happens" and itineraries and/or travel plans need to be changed, adjusted or canceled. We will try to be accommodating of each situation and will respect the need for changes; however, we are a small family owned business and filling rooms at the last minute is difficult for us without a substantial lead time. Therefore to be fare to us and other guests that would like to stay at our place we have established the following policies:
No-shows are responsible for full payment of their entire reservation.
Should you cancel 30 days or more prior to of your reservation, your deposit will be refunded, less a $20.00 Administration/Re-booking fee.
If you need to cancel 29 days or less prior to your reservation. We will keep your full deposit.
