CURRENCY: Currency on invoices are in US dollars.
TAXES - 9% Hotel Accommodation tax included. No additional fees upon arrival.
SECURITY - All transactions on Little Hotelier Extranet (booking engine) are secured by Little Hotelier and SiteMinder. Do not send credit card or sensitive banking information through mayabellahotel.com's Contact page. Please call via telephone to 011 501 6158260 to update credit card information. All payment card information is secured on the cloud by Little Hotelier. By securing a reservation you agree to pay for theft of or damages to the property, its assets or to staff that are incurred by your guests and their visitors. All visitors need to check in at the front desk and wait in the lobby's lounge.
RESERVATIONS - A reservation is confirmed from the moment it is requested; an inquiry is not a reservation. A confirmed reservation is subject to purchase by another customer at anytime; secure it by making a deposit or a full payment. To place your order via email or phone call, submit your email address with a copy of your government issued ID (or social security identification card for Belizean nationals). Once you request to be emailed your reservation itinerary, you will be billed for the rooms via invoice. 50% of total due 6 months before arrival.
Disclaimer: Policies can be updated anytime, please check back frequently to make sure which policy you booked under. The hotel may run out of supplies or services may be unavailable for any reason and does not imply a discounted rate. We reserve the right to refuse service upon arrival for any reason and reservation balances may still be due. Deposits are non-refundable.

Payment Policy

Amounts on invoice are in US dollars. We accept US dollars at no charge. Please show valid photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Booking with the hotel guarantees lower rates. All payments are non-refundable. Invoices expire after 24 hours w/o payment method.

Credit Card payments are processed either locally via a POS (CC Swipe) or Stripe.

Bank Account Deposits are accepted. Only deposit if you see receive an invoice with the reservation number from an e-mail or if you are reserving through our Facebook Business Page.

Cancellation Policy

There is a 24-hour grace period to update your reservation before the balance is charged in full.

In the case of a broadcasted natural disaster in San Ignacio, Cayo, Belize, free cancellation will apply to the nights affected only. Unaffected nights and/or unaffected reservations are non-refundable.

Same-day booking and cancellation where the hotel is not at fault will incur a fee of USD $45.00.

Applicable cancellation of reservations from September to the end of November will incur a minimum fee of $30.00 USD. or $10.00 USD per room per night.

Room-night rates for rooms that have been checked-in are 100% non-refundable.

*Reservations/bookings are only secured via one of the accepted payments mentioned in Payment Policy. Unsecured reservations are subject to purchase by walk-in or pre-paying customers. A confirmed reservation means you have placed an order and you will be billed for all rooms via an invoice sent electronically from our Extranet.

Any refund owed to a reservation will be returned to the name on the reservation (via Credit Card only) minus a transaction fee of 5% if before a 90-day cancellation or 10% if between a 60-and-90-day cancellation. Payer will allow up to 60 business days for the hotel to pay the refund.
