Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Monroe Street Suites. Below are hotel policies and procedures; read them carefully. As our hotel guests, by reading and signing your hotel registration card at check-in or by booking a reservation on our website, you are agreeing to abide by our hotel policies and procedures.
SMOKING POLICIES
Smoking is prohibited in all public areas of the hotel, our guest rooms are all non-smoking (a $250.00 fine will be applied for smoking in a room.) Smoking is allowed in the designated “smoking” area on the patio behind the hotel.
PET POLICIES
All pets are prohibited on property (a fine of $250.00 will be applied to the bill if a pet is discovered). “Service animals” are allowed with proper documentation.
CHECK-OUT
Check-out is at 11 AM. If you require a later check-out, please contact us before 10 am on the day of departure, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. A charge may apply, depending on availability.
Payment Policy
Payment in full is due at the time of check-in.
CHECK-IN
Office Hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. If your scheduled time of arrival is outside of these business hours or you arrive at the hotel and the office is closed, please call 1-217-285-6129 to arrange your check-in time. To expedite your check-in process please call 15-20 minutes prior to arrival, this will insure that our staff will meet you when you arrive.
Cancellation Policy
Because we are a small business, last minute cancellations and changes of plan can be disastrous for us. We have a cancellation policy that we feel is fair for our guests and will allow us to continue to run a successful hotel.
If you have secured a room with us, and it becomes evident that you need to cancel that reservation, please call us immediately. We require that you cancel your reservations 2 weeks prior to the date of your expected arrival. In the event you need to cancel your reservation less than 14 days prior to your expected arrival date, you will still be responsible for the full cost of your stay, unless we are able to re-rent the room. This policy applies to any date that our rooms are reserved and we turn other guests away.
Short Notice Bookings (reserved less than 14 days prior) are responsible for the full cost of the stay, if we have turned other guests away and we are unable to get the room re-rented.
Early Departures are subject to the same policy. If we have turned guests away for the dates that you had secured, and we are unable to re-rent the room, you are responsible for the full cost of those dates.
We thank you for your business and we understand that plans do often change. When a cancellation is received we contact any guests on the wait list, many times we will use social media to let others know that we have rooms available. We are committed to your satisfaction and will work diligently to get the room re-rented.
