Mountain Valley Retreat
Nestled on 16 acres of the Green Mountains of Central Vermont, this 2300 sq. ft. Bed and Breakfast features an opportunity to explore wetlands and high meadow mountain terrain uninterrupted by the din of city and traffic noise. Our unique chalet has two bedrooms available for rent. Yes the bedrooms are cozy, the bathroom is shared, and the stairs are steep, but all rooms offer spectacular views of some of the world’s oldest mountains and valley terrain. At the convenience of our guests, each morning we serve a robust breakfast, to prepare them for the day's delight.
The chance to commune with nature while staying at our Mountain Valley Retreat is well worth it. Skiers, golfers, hikers, bikers, fisherman, geologists, archaeologists, birdwatchers, nature lovers, plein air artists, antique devotees, and other souls seeking refreshment are guaranteed satisfaction. We are 7 miles from Killington Ski Resort, largest ski area in the New England; 2 miles from the Green Mountain National Golf Course, voted the No. 1 golf course in Vermont; ½ mile from the Appalachian Trail, and in the center of the world famous bucolic scenery of Vermont. We rent 2 bedrooms that share 1 bathroom which is less than 3 feet from either bedroom.
Both bedrooms have a maximum occupancy of 2. Guest minimum age is 21, child over 12 may accompany adult
Pets are not allowed.

Steep stairs to bedrooms.
Free of charge hearty breakfast. Breakfast reservations are from 7AM to 9AM. Special arrangements can be made.

Payment Policy
Credit Card details required, but no prepayment is taken. Generally, we will charge our guests on the morning of their departure. In case of a late cancellation or no show, without an excuse, we may charge our guest credit card 20% of total expected income less taxes, as stipulated in our cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy
Our guests can cancel free of charge up to 3 days before arrival without a cancellation fee. Late cancellation and no-show guests without an excuse may be charged 20% of our total expected income less taxes to offset holding, administrative, and operational expenses of Mountain Valley Retreat and our agent.
