Ocean Acres Cottages & Campground

Ocean Acres Cottages is a year round business and our Campground is open May till the end of October, weather permitting. With a 3 1/2 Canada Select Rating, Ocean Acres Cottages & Campground is one of the most recommended places to stay in the south eastern part of Prince Edward Island.

Ocean Acres is a 55 minute scenic drive southeast of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and only a 20 minute drive from the Wood Islands Ferry. Ocean Acres is nestled near the fishing hamlet of Murray Harbour.
​
Various activities await you at Ocean Acres. While staying with us, come and enjoy some of the islands best golf located 35 minutes from the resort. Go for a swim in the 40 foot outdoor heated pool, enjoy an afternoon of sea kayaking or venture out on a bicycle ride on Confederation Trail less than a mile from the property or grab a cold one with some friends at our licensed restaurant, The Deck.

Prince Edward Island is beautiful all year round, take a sightseeing drive to the Cape Bear Lighthouse, visit the spectacular beaches or go for a walk in the provincial parks or come skating on our 25 000sqft outdoor rink.

2 Way Waterfront Campsite Réserver

This site has water and 20amp power. The site do not have sewer and we do not have a dumping station on site. The site is intended for tent trailers and small travel trailers under 25 feet long. Dry camping only. The views from the site is spectacular and provide you with private access to the water and are close to all our facilities.

Conditions générales

Quiet Time
11:00pm until 7am. Please be respectful of your neighbours. Excessive noise is not allowed at any time. Sound carrying beyond your site during quiet time may result in you and your guests being asked to leave.

Check-in Time
Campsites 1pm
Cottages & RV Rentals 3pm

Check out is 11am

Children
No child is to be left unattended. Any child under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult 19 yrs or older while enjoying the swimming pool.

Visitors
Visitors must check in before 8pm at The Deck Restaurant and must leave by 10pm. All visitors must pay applicable fee to use the pool. The site holder is responsible for all the actions of their visitors. We reserve the right to refuse admittance and all unregistered visitors found on site will be asked to leave.

Conduct
We have a zero tolerance policy for disorderly, abusive or indecent conduct.
Any person engaging in activities that are illegal or could be harmful to others will be evicted immediately and authorities will be called.

Alcohol
May be consumed on your own site or at your own cottage. Absolutely no outside food or drinks are allowed at The Deck Restaurant and no food or drinks in the pool area.

Pets
Must be on a leash and attended. Pets are not allowed in any buildings, playground or cottages (Except Cottage 2 when arranged). Pets must be cleaned up after. Hostile or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Exotic pets are not permitted.

Smoking
Smoking and Vaping is not allowed in the cottages, pool area, restaurant or any of our buildings. Smoking or Vaping in any of these buildings will result in a $200 cleaning fee.

Smoking is allowed on the cottage porches as long as the windows and
door are closed and ash trays are used. 




 

Cannabis
Cannabis is NOT permitted at Ocean Acres and anyone using Cannabis will be asked to leave without refund and charged the $200 fee
Consumption is permitted only inside one's own private camping unit. ex tent or camper.

Trees
Our trees are precious. Do not cut limbs, climb or attach anything to our trees. This includes clotheslines.

Vehicles
The Speed limit is 10KMH. Slow down for kids sake!!
Please keep vehicles locked and personal valuables in a safe place. We are not responsible for lost or stolen property.

Fireworks & Chinese Lanterns
Are ILLEGAL on PEI. No incendiary devices may be lit on park grounds or on our beach or off the bridge.

Garbage
Is to be left at the edge of the road between the hours of 8am - 8pm in clear plastic bags.

No Vehicle washing or RV washing.

Sewer
Must use a "Doughnut". Only septic friendly biodegradable holding tank treatments are permitted.

Electricity
AC must be turned off when absent from an RV or Cottage for more than 30mins.

Campfires
Fires must be attended to at all times. Fires must be under control and extinguished by 12am. No off island wood allowed.

We accept Visa and MasterCards only.

No AMEX or Debit cards (for deposits)
If no credit card is provided the deposit must be e-transferred to info@oceanacres.ca and a $200 security deposit will be required at check in.

Conditions d'annulation

Upon booking we require a 50% deposit before taxes of the entire reservation. This deposit is fully refundable until 14days prior to your check in date.
Any changes after 14days may result in a loss of deposit.
Any reservation made with less than 14days before arrival please note that the deposit in non refundable.
