Old Rectory Guest House

The Old Rectory is a beautiful, elegant, nostalgic Victorian home of the "Upstairs Downstairs" era offering warm family hospitality bed and breakfast by the resident proprietors, who strive to give the sort of personal attention which inevitably creates a friendly atmosphere.
The guest house offers a wonderful architectural history the Old Rectory is well over 150 years old (please be prepared for some quirks that we find charming!). Due to the age of the property we do not have a lift and so please be prepared for our historic staircase - a wonderful feature but perhaps not suited to those that would find this a challenge. Call us in advance and we can advise on any way that we could help.
The Old Rectory in the Western Lake District and offers ensuite bed and breakfast close to the centre of the Lake District. Our bed and breakfast accommodation is situated within easy driving distance of Consittion.
Guests are welcome to relax in the gardens and seek peace and quiet. The Old Rectory is set in two acres of stunning landscaped gardens along with leisure furniture for our guest's use. All the guest rooms have Freeview flat screen televisions, tea and coffee hospitality trays, hairdryers, alarm clock radios, central heating and are maintained to a high standard with en-suite bathrooms.
There is 24 hour internet access at no extra cost.
We also have a two sitting areas one with a satellite TV and a large on demand (free) movie and TV selection, and a more quite room with direct access to the gardens though French windows and . We also have a breakfast room and a separate small guest dining room.
We do not have drinks licence, bar or evening restratnt, guests are welcome to bring food and drink onto the site alotuhgh we do not offer cooking facilities.
The Old Rectory in Cumbria is a great choice for visiting the lake district, bed and breakfast accommodation although we have several local amenities also close by
