The Pear Tree Inn, a Farmhouse Kitchen with rooms, tucked away in rural Whitley near Melksham, 25 minutes from Bath. It has eight contemporary individually decorated en suite double rooms split between the Inn & a beautifully converted barn. An old stone build farmhouse with rug strewn flagstones & reclaimed timber flooring. It features worn wooden tables with mismatched furniture. The Pear Tree showcases the best local suppliers with a menu guided by the seasons. Beyond the flagstoned bar are two dining areas; the garden room, adjacent to a secluded courtyard; and a large open sunroom with exposed beams, and adjacent sun terrace.

What's for breakfast? Your complimentary breakfast includes:
From the buffet table: fresh juices; seasonal fresh fruit; thick natural yoghurt; homemade granola and other cereals.
From the kitchen: Full English; scrambled eggs and smoked salmon; eggs on sour dough; Smashed Avocado; mushrooms on toast; bacon sandwich

Terms & Conditions

Guests are able to check in from 3pm and are checked out by 10:30am. Later check-outs, if available, incur an additional charge of £35.
It is against the law to smoke inside any public property - Smoking in rooms and/or excessive damage or wear and tear will result in a £150 cleaning fee, plus charges for necessary repairs. Lost keys are charged at £50. Bramley toiletries removed from rooms are charged at £20 per bottle.
Pets are only permitted in a pet-friendly room, subject to a £15 per night charge. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times whilst in public areas.
Personal data collected by the Pear Tree Inn will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Complimentary overnight car charging available from 8pm. Our Purezza water bottles are reusable; any bottles removed from the rooms will incur a £20 charge each.

Payment Policy

In order for us to confirm a reservation, credit/debit card details are required to secure the booking. No payment is taken from this card at this time unless asked. Payment will be due on departure.
Additional guests will be charged as follows, 0-2yrs £0, 2+yrs £30

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing, preferably by email, at least 48 hours before the day of arrival - For bookings of more than two rooms, an extended cancellation period will apply, this will be confirmed at the time of booking. Guests who do not arrive, or do not cancel within this time will be charged for the full amount of their stay. We are unable to refund early check-outs except in cases of an emergency.
