Terms & Conditions

Check in is from 3pm until 10pm. Please let us know if you think you will arrive after this time, as we will need to make you aware of our late check-in procedure.

Check out is from 7am to 11am unless alternative arrangements have been made.

A full cooked breakfast is included in your room rate, this is available from 8.30-9.30 but a cold selection is served from 7.30am.

Please be aware that we do not have a member of staff on site throughout the night, an emergency contact number will be supplied to you upon check in.

Food is served:
Monday To Friday 12pm-2.30pm then 5pm-8.30pm
Saturday 12pm-9pm
Sunday 12pm-8pm you can book over the phone or via our website.

All of our rooms and throughout the whole inn we operate a no smoking policy.

Dogs are permitted everywhere in the inn with the exception of our Torsin Suite and the Restaurant (excluding guide dogs).

Unfortunately due to the age of the building, none of our rooms are suitable for disabled guests. However our bar and restaurant does have disabled access.

Please note that our Musgrave room is offered at the lowest rate and although it won't disturb your sleep with us, this is reduced due to it's location above the kitchen the kitchen fan can be heard during food service times.

Payment Policy

When booking direct with us over the phone or through our own website we will ask for your card details to secure your booking. Full payment for the booking will be taken at this time. Online travel agents may have their own T&C's....

All items charged to your room during your stay will need to be paid for on departure. A copy of your card details will be taken upon check in as guarantee.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept cheques but all major credit and debit cards are accepted and cash payment must be made in GBP.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy fee of £50 per room per stay applies only if you cancel within 48 hours of your first night's stay. Anything outside of this time incurs no cancellation charge.

All reservations made prior to the 5th November 2020 can be changed or cancelled at any time up until check in. All cancellation penalties will be waived.
For reservations booked on/or after 5th November 2020, the rules communicated at the time of reservation will stand.

Under the COVID-19 regulations, if your room booking is directly affected by legal rules enforcing closure of our venue, or your own need to self-isolate or any other legal restriction that may prevent you or us from fulfilling your stay with us, then your booking may either be transferred to a suitable future date or may be refunded to you in full. In such a situation, the policy stated above for cancellations within 48 hours of arrival shall not apply to your booking and you will not suffer any financial penalty.
