Terms & Conditions

MINIMUM STAY

Resurrection Lodge on the Bay typically requires a 2-night minimum reservation Resurrection Lodge on the Bay reserves the right to waive this minimum at our sole discretion.

DEPOSIT

100% of the total reservation/vacation package will need to be paid at a booking time.
Guests booking any tours not included in the set package are also required to be paid in full.

ANY CHANGES IN TOURS OR PACKAGES MUST BE MADE IN WRITING before 30 DAYS OF ARRIVAL.

SHUTTLE SERVICES:
Our shuttle service operates between 9 am and 6 pm and only operates to and from the train station, bus, and cruise port. Please note that cruise port luggage pick-up will not start till 9 am. Also, please note that check-in is 4 pm, so if getting off the cruise ship earlier, nothing will be open in Seward unless you have scheduled a charter or tour.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES

Unless otherwise communicated in writing by Resurrection Lodge, the normal check-in time is 4 pm on the date of arrival, and the normal check-out time is 10 am on the date of departure.

CHECK OUT RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest shall leave the Lodge in the same condition before Guest's arrival, except normal housekeeping and cleaning services regularly performed by Resurrection Lodge on the Bay staff (beds, towels, floors, etc.). Guest shall be responsible for washing and putting away all dishes, pots and pans, and utensils in the kitchen and shall not leave any wet towels or other items out to damage the property if leftover time. Resurrection Lodge on the Bay may, at check-out time or subsequently, assess and inventory the facilities and charge Guest for any damages caused more than normal wear-and-tear (i.e., broken or damaged furniture, broken windows, damaged appliances, etc.) or missing items, including the use of smoking products in the room... Guest agrees that Resurrection Lodge on the Bay may charge any credit card used for the deposit or other payments to cover these costs. Upon request, Resurrection Lodge on the Bay will provide Guest with an itemized statement of charges.

PET POLICY:
NO Pets allowed.

SMOKING POLICY;
Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. All rooms, cabins, and apartments, and other common areas are non-smoking.

FISH AND GAME CLEANING

Cleaning of fish and other game is not permitted on Resurrection Lodge premises. Recommended cleaning facilities can be found in your guest service book.

OTHER POLICIES AND SERVICES.

Resurrection Lodge on the Bay maintains a Guest Services book with information about facilities.
Guest agrees to abide by the policies in that Guest Services book. To the extent that there is a conflict between this agreement's terms and the Guest Services book, this agreement shall govern.

CONDITION OF PREMISES

Guest acknowledges that any representative of Resurrection Lodge on the Bay has not made and does not hereby make any representations regarding the Lodge's physical condition, accommodations, or facilities. Guest expressly waives and releases any such warranties which may exist. Accordingly, Guest hereby accepts the property rented "as is."

ENTIRE AND BINDING AGREEMENT

Other than rental price, dates/times, and specific facilities rented (i.e., Lodge, Cabin 2, etc.), this agreement contains all of the agreements between the parties hereto regarding the subject matter hereof. It may not be modified in any manner other than by an agreement in writing signed by Resurrection Lodge on the Bay. The terms, covenants, and conditions contained herein shall inure to the benefit of binding upon Resurrection Lodge on the Bay, Guest, and their successors and permitted assigns.

NON-EXCLUSIVE USE

Guest understands and agrees that in no way does their rental of certain parts of the property, Lodge or Cabins constitute exclusive use of the entire property. Resurrection Lodge on the Bay guest understands that other guests, visitors, the owner's family and friends, and other people may be on the property simultaneously unless otherwise specified in writing. Resurrection Lodge on the Bay makes no guarantees that other guests' use will not interfere with the activities of Guest, and Guest agrees to be reasonable and courteous when dealing with other guests on the property.

ACCEPTABLE USE.

Guests of Resurrection Lodge on the Bay shall conduct themselves following all applicable laws, directions, rules, ordinances, and governmental agencies' regulations having jurisdiction over the lodge during their stay. Public roads and other points of access to Resurrection Lodge on the Bay shall not be unlawfully blocked. Additionally, notices, rules, and regulations posted on the property by Resurrection Lodge Staff (i.e., speed limit signs, no smoking signs, trash disposal instructions, quiet times, etc.) shall be complied with at all times during your stay. An adult guest and shall appropriately supervise all activities and care of children at all times.

WAIVER

Resurrection Lodge on the Bay (including its owners, managers, staff, and residents) shall not have any responsibility for the care or protection and shall not be liable for any damage, injury, loss of life, whether, by fire, theft, vandalism, accident or other peril of any kind whatsoever, to the person or any vehicle or other property of any Guest or any other person present at the lodge, and Guests waive any claims they, or any person claiming by, through or under those Guests, might now or in the future have against Resurrection Lodge on the Bay on account of any such damage or injury. Also, although Resurrection Lodge on the Bay makes every effort to honor all reservations, Resurrection Lodge on the Bay shall have no liability whatsoever, other than fully refunding any deposits, if the lodge cancels any reservation, for any reason, and Guest is either able or unable to rent another facility. Resurrection Lodge on the Bay's only liability shall be the full refund of any deposits and monies received from the reservation if such cancellation occurs.

INDEMNITY

Guests shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Resurrection Lodge on the Bay (including its owners, managers, staff, and residents) from and against any costs, claims, and charges, including Resurrection Lodge on the Bay's attorneys' fees and other costs, made by any person against Resurrection Lodge on the Bay and/or liability resulting from any act or omission of Guest or Resurrection Lodge on the Bay (including Resurrection Lodge on the Bay's owners, managers, staff and residents), Guests agents and/or employees, and/or Guest's use of the facilities (including all members of Guest's party). All property kept, stored, or maintained at or on the guest's premises shall be kept, stored, or maintained at the full risk of Guest only. Also, Guest shall indemnify, defend and save harmless Resurrection Lodge on the Bay from and against any costs, claims, and charges, including Resurrection Lodge on the Bay's attorneys' fees and other costs, made by any person against Resurrection Lodge on the Bay for any reservation canceled by Resurrection Lodge on the Bay.

DEFAULT

If Guest fails to comply with the payment terms or the terms herein or otherwise breaches any other covenants of this agreement, then all of Guest's rights hereunder shall, at the election of Resurrection Lodge on the Bay, immediately cease and terminate, and Guest shall immediately leave the Lodge. Guest hereby expressly waives notice of default, notice to quit, and all other notices that may be required by law. If Resurrection Lodge on the Bay engages attorneys to enforce its rights hereunder, Guest shall reimburse the Lodge for Resurrection Lodge on the Bay's attorneys' fees and court costs.

NON-WAIVER PROVISION

The failure of Resurrection Lodge on the Bay to insist upon performance of any of the terms, conditions, and covenants hereof shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any rights or remedies that Resurrection Lodge on the Bay may have and shall not be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach or default in the terms, conditions, and covenants herein contained.

AUTHORITY

The person executing this agreement for Guest warrants and represents to Resurrection Lodge on the Bay that it is authorized to do so and that this agreement is valid and binding on the principals according to its terms.

GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION, AND VENUE

This agreement shall be governed by, and construed per, the laws of the State of ALASKA. Guest agrees and consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of ALASKA for all purposes regarding this agreement and further agrees and consents that venue of any action brought hereunder shall be exclusively at the sole discretion of Resurrection Lodge on the Bay.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

Resurrection Lodge on the Bay is a small family-owned Lodge. We realize that emergencies happen; however, we strongly encourage you to obtain travelers' insurance. If you give us 61 days or more notice of cancellation prior to arrival, you will receive 100% refund less 5% credit card fees. If you cancel 30 to 60 days prior to arrival, you will receive 50% refund less 5% credit card fees. If you cancel 29 days prior to arrival no refunds are given.
