Sea Drift Motel

Our motel is family owned, and 2023 marks our 52nd year in business, with the Owner/Manager living onsite. We are located across the street from the beach, just a 2 minute walk, and are centrally located to the Pier and Amusement park, a 10 minute stroll. Our standard rooms for 2 persons have 1 queen bed or 1 king bed, and are all located on the first floor, while our standard rooms which have 2 full size beds may be on the 1st or 2nd floor. All 2nd floor rooms are accessible via stairs as we do not have an elevator. All standard rooms include a small fridge , microwave, coffee maker, and a table and chairs for 2 persons. Please note that our first floor rooms do not have heat. Our kitchenette rooms are all located on the 2nd level, and all have 2 double beds. These rooms include full size fridge, 4 burner cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, garbage disposals, and all cookware, dishes, glasses and utensils. All 2nd level rooms have a large private balcony/deck with outdoor table and seating. All rooms at the Sea Drift have hardwood type floors, and tiled bathrooms. Please note that all rooms have showers, and not bathtubs.

We offer a salt system, outdoor heated pool (in season), which is open from June until closing, and BBQ gas grills with outdoor eating areas. Complimentary ice is available for your convenience as well as free WIFI.

Each room has 1 assigned parking space. If parking is needed for a 2nd vehicle there will be a $25 charge per stay. Our property tends to have families, couples, and older adults, as our minimum check in age is 25 years old, and usually by 10:00 PM, the motel is very quiet, which we like!

Due to the labor shortage Old Orchard Beach is facing, we are unable to provide daily housekeeping. However, we will do all possible to accommodate you should you desire to have our housekeeping team service your room, if staffing permits us to fulfill your request. If it is only towels to be exchanged, you may bring them to the office to receive new ones.

Smoking is allowed outside only, away from the building, and we appreciate your cooperation of this policy. Smoking is not allowed on our 2nd floor balconies or deck. Maine law allows use of recreational marijuana, but please note marijuana use is NOT allowed on our property.
