Terms & Conditions

By/When using our Site you are accepting all the terms and conditions set forth below in these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to each and all of these terms and conditions please do not use our Site. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change and or modify portions of these Terms of Use at any time without notice and, unless otherwise indicated, such changes will become effective immediately upon posting; therefore, please check these Terms of Use periodically for changes.

You agree that you will make only legitimate reservations in good faith for use by you and your invited guests only, and not for other purposes, including without limitation, reselling, impermissibly assigning or posting on third party websites, or making speculative, false or fraudulent reservations, or any reservation in anticipation of demand.

St. Bernard Retreat & Conference Center Information may contain technical inaccuracies and typographical errors, including but not limited to inaccuracies relating to pricing or availability applicable to your transaction. St. Bernard Retreat & Conference Center does not assume responsibility or liability for any such inaccuracies, errors or omissions, and shall have no obligation to honor reservations or information affected by such inaccuracies. St. Bernard Retreat & Conference Center reserves the right to make changes, corrections, cancellations and/or improvements to St. Bernard Retreat & Conference Center Information, and to the products and programs described in such information, at any time without notice, including after confirmation of a transaction.

We are in the office every day from 8am-4pm. If you think you may be checking in after 4pm please call us in the office for after-hours check-in instructions. Note: You can check-in after 4pm, we are just not in the office past 4pm.

No pets allowed.

Smoking Policy: Smoking is permitted on our premises; however, not in our rooms. Breaking this policy will result in an automatic $100.00 room cleaning fee.

Please note: More than one group may be scheduled for meals and lodging at the same time.

Rates for meals and lodging are subject to change.

Special dietary requests should be arranged at least two (2) weeks in advance.

WiFi is available in the Retreat and Conference Center.

Times of silence are designated in both the monastery guest rooms and in the Retreat Center. Those who are disruptive will be asked to leave and will remain responsible for the total balance of their bill.

Payment Policy

Individual guests may inquire about their financial responsibilities at (256)734-3946.

Groups: A non-refundable deposit of $300.00 is due within three (3) weeks of making your reservation. ($600.00 for groups reserving the entire building.) The deposit must be received to maintain your Retreat Center Reservation. After your event, the deposit will be deducted from the total balance due, unless there are damages or excessive clean-up is required.

Payment is due at the conclusion of stay/event.

Rates for meals and lodging are subject to change.

Cancellation Policy

Individual guests must inform of a cancellation three (3) days in advance.

Group cancellations must be made two (2) weeks in advance. The deposit for a group is non-refundable before and after a cancellation. Groups will be required to pay for the food ordered if they cancel after the required two week notification.
