Welcome to The St James Hotel aka The Rose of Georgetown, where the Old West meets Victorian charm. This historic hotel has 5 suites with lots of space for you to stretch out and relax after a day of outdoor adventure like hiking, fishing, snowshoeing, and skiing. One our favorite things is exploring Guanella Pass Scenic Byway looking for big horn sheep, moose, elk and more. Built in 1875, the St James Hotel has had many uses over the years but we have returned it to its original use and updated each suite with it's own bathroom, luxurious linens, clawfoot tubs, penny tile, and many other amenities. The shared full kitchen offers use for each guest including stocked breakfast items for guests. Explore Downtown Georgetown right outside the front door!

Check-in is anytime after 3PM. You will receive instructions for remote check-in via text and/or email.
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
We honor quiet hours from 11.00 PM until 7:00 AM.
Pets are allowed for a $35 per night fee.
All guest rooms have a private bath.
For the health and safety of our guests, the St James is a non-smoking Inn. Smoking Violation is $250.00. Please use the outside space for smoking.
The St James Inn is privately owned and Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.
Please contact us personally with your request for a group stay at the Clipper Inn to see if we can accommodate your needs.
Payment Policy
PAYMENT may be made by cash, check, Visa, Discover, Mastercard and American Express. Your credit card deposit is processed at the time of booking. The balance will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
For any minibar items consumed during your stay, your card will be charged upon check out.
Cancellation Policy
Please read the cancellation policies carefully. When you make your reservation you are agreeing to them. Unlike a large hotel, small inn’s cannot easily absorb the cost of last minute cancellations or no shows. We may have turned down many reservation requests in order to ensure that a particular room is there for you. We can’t shuffle people from room to room as they show up, like a hotel where all the rooms are identical. We understand that plans change at the last minute. We hope you understand that, as a small-Inn with limited availability, we must enforce our cancellation policies.
