Terms & Conditions

All business carried out with the Sun Hotel is on the basis of our terms & conditions.
1. Cancellation

2. Non arrival & early departures Policy

In the event of a non arrival the card details held for the booking will be charged the full bookings cost.
In the event of a early departure, there will be a reduced charge for the remaining of the booking of 30% of the daily rate multiplied by the remaining days.

3. Price Revision

Sun Hotel reserve the right to increase prices in the event of circumstances beyond its control, e.g. increases in VAT.

4. Deposits

Sun Hotel request the following non-refundable deposit at the time of booking: -
A) 1 Night bookings – Full Payment
B) 2 Nights & more – A flat fee of £60
Bookings made with no deposit will only be held for a maximum of 24 hours without
receiving full deposit.
Saver rate customer are required to pay the full bookings cost in full at the time of booking.

5. Payment
We accept Cash, Cards and Cheques
Saver rate customers are required to pay the booking in full at the time of booking.

Card Payments
For those that have provided Sun Hotel with card details, pre authorisation will be requested 7 days prior to check in, in accordance with the pre-authorization policy.
A Credit Card charge will be levied for all credit card payments, Debit cards are free.
Cheque Payments
Cheques for balance payments are required to be with us 14 days before arrival.
The balance of your holiday is due on arrival.

6. Damage
Guests are responsible to Sun Hotel for any damage caused during their stay. Sun Hotel reserves the right to charge card details held for guests that have inflicted damage at the cost of the management’s discretion. An invoice for damages will be produced for guests to keep as a record.

7. Equipment & Property
Guest’s own equipment & property is brought in to Sun Hotel at their own risk & Sun Hotel accepts no liability for loss or damage.

8. Parking
We have on-site parking available at the hotel and is free, All parking should be reserved and operates a first book, first served basis.

9. Contract
When a booking is confirmed with a confirmation or with a credit card number, a contract is deemed to exist. This contract is to comply with all of Sun Hotel’s terms and conditions.

10. Discounts
Any discount offered by us is subject to the booking being paid on time and in full.

11. Late Payment Fee
A Late Payment fee of £25 may be payable should the balance of your holiday not be settled by the due date.

12. Transferring Your Booking
We will transfer your booking but condition do apply;
A:) A transfer is requested 7+ days before booking commences.
B:) The transfer has to be to a booking that will be in equal or greater value than the original booking.
Any changes to the booking will be subject to an administration fee of £25.00

13. Children
Child rates apply for children up to the age of 12yrs. For younger children we have a travel cot and bedding service available for an additional charge.

14. Check In / Out
Check in commences at 14:00 - 20:00*
Check out by 10:00
Early check in is available, subject to availability at an additional charge. Earliest check in is 11:00.
Late check out is available, subject to availability at an additional charge. Latest check out is 13:00.

15. Insurance
We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance, for protection with cancellations for unforeseen circumstances.

Payment Policy

Subject to your rate plan, a non refundable deposit payment of the first nights stay is required to confirm the booking.

Payment of the balance will be required at the time of arrival, for those that have
provided us with card details we will preauthorise the card details 7 days before the check in date to secure the cost of the booking in-line with the cancellation policy, payment will be not be processed until check in. For those wanting to pay by cheque, payment is required 14 days before check in date.

Cancellation Policy

Subject to your rate plan you can cancel your reservation.
Charge for cancellation is as follows;
Days before arrival ------ Cancellation Cost
More than 30 Days ------ Deposit Only
22 to 30 Days ------ 30% of total booking
15 to 21 Days ------ 50% of total booking
8 to 14 Days ------ 75% of total booking
7 days or less ------ 100% of total booking

Please note that any card details held by us will be pre-authorised 7 days prior to check in to cover the cost of the booking to comply with the cancellation policy.

In the result of a no show the full cost of the booking will be taken from the card details held by us.
