The George Inn
The George Inn is the quintessential country pub. With our warm and inviting bar area, lined with 14th Century beams, framed with fresh hops and kept warm through our large inglenook fire place - it's the perfect place for a relaxed drink with good company. We have a large walled garden, with views to the Cuckmere River and the South Downs beyond, a haven in the summer months. Our kitchen is open for both lunch and dinner, with a menu that reflects wonderful, seasonal British produce, as well as Lunchtime Extras that fill the traditional pub grub craving. We have five beautiful rooms, a cosy bar and a large restaurant, making The George the perfect place for a get-away. Bring the partner, the family, the dogs, or simply escape solo and enjoy the beauty of the South Downs within a friendly historic setting.

The remaining balance is due on check out.
Cancellation Policy
We have a 7 day cancellation period.
We will refund your booking payment up to 7 days prior to your check in date.
If you cancel within 7 days of your check in date you will lose your payment
