Gillen House Luxury Bed and Breakfast Terms and Conditions

Check-in and Check-Out:
Check-in time is 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. We do not have a front desk; please make every effort to arrive on time.
Check out time is 11 a.m.

Deposits:
A deposit of 50% of your stay will be charged to your credit card at the time your reservation is made. Deposits can only be made by credit or debit cards. Your balance will be charged to your credit card on file at check out.

Rates, Taxes and Fees:
Rates, taxes and fees are subject to change. All rates based on double occupancy.

Food Allergies, Restrictions and Other food requests:
Please be sure to alert your innkeeper if you have any dietary restrictions, are vegan or vegetarian, or have other special requirements such as celiac disease, gluten-intolerance, gluten-free diets, hate green things, don’t eat eggs. A good example would be on medication that precludes grapefruit.

Smoking:
Smoking is NOT permitted inside any of the buildings or on the grounds. A cleaning fee of $500 will be assessed for any violations in buildings.

Maximum occupancy:
Amarillo and Azul rooms 2, Rojo room is 2 people, Verde room is 4.
$50 charge per night per room for each additional person in the room.
No exceptions.

Young Adults:
Young adults 12 and older are welcome. Our home is a peaceful retreat for our guests, and we welcome well behaved young people. Our facility is not designed for young children or infants, we apologize for any inconvenience. $50 charge per night per room for each additional person in the room.

Pet Policy:
We do not accept pets on property.

Room Damage/Missing Items/Excessive Cleaning:
If rooms are damaged or left extremely dirty during a stay, guests will be charged the amount it costs to replace damaged item + 50/hr. labor fees to return room to its original state. This includes missing/damaged remotes, bedding, towels, windows, window screens, fixtures, furniture, doors, lights, mirrors, artwork etc.

Disabled Accessibility:
We are NOT accessible for those who are disabled. All rooms are on the second floor and only are accessible via stairs.

Legal Notice:
This is our home, and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. By booking a room at the Gillen House, you agree to hold harmless the property and owners from any injury sustained while on the grounds or in the house. We are not responsible for accidents or injury, damages to personal property or vehicles, or for the loss of money or valuables of any kind.

All rates are specific to each room. There is a $50.00 per night fee for each additional guest in the room,. Maximum occupancy in Amarillo and Azul rooms is 2, Rojo room is 2, and in Verde room is 4, no exceptions.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations
We adhere to a strict cancellation policy. (1.17.2023)

• Cancellations made seven ( 7) days or less than check in date will be charged the full amount of the reservation. This includes “No-shows” and premature check-outs.
• Reservations made more than two (2) months in advance are subject to a longer cancellation period. If cancelled prior to twenty-one (21) days of arrival date, there is no penalty. If cancelled within twenty-one (21) days of arrival date, a $50 per room cancellation fee will be assessed. If cancelled within fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date, guests will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
