Welcome to the Hitching Post Hotel and Feed Store located in the heart of beautiful Crawford, Colorado.

The Hitching Post Hotel offers a variety of room styles and accommodations to provide a good night's sleep from the solitary traveler to family groups of adventurers, and everyone in between. Our friendly service, personal touches and warm country style and décor are sure to please business and leisure travelers alike. Additionally for our travelers and hunters, we offer laundry and shower facilities. Onsite we also have a full hardware and feed store. The only friends we don't know are the ones we haven't met yet. We look forward to having you as a guest soon.

Terms & Conditions

Room Rates cover 1-2 adults; Children under 12 stay free. Additional guests are welcome for $10 per night, per person. The Efficiency Suites rate covers 3-4 adults. Last minute reservations and cancellations are welcome online no more than 24 hours in advance of expected arrival. Within 24 hours, notification of change in or addition of reservation must be made by phone to confirm: 970-424-4966.

Check in: 2:00 pm on day of arrival.
After hours check-ins are available; please contact 970-424-4966 to make arrangements. Maid service is provided by request during your stay. Extra services are always available from The Hitching Post on Monday – Saturday 7:30 am-6:00 pm or by calling 970-424-4966. Towels, wash cloths, etc are property of The Hitching Post. Towels are for indoor and sanitary use only. Rags are available upon request for emergency vehicle or other needs.

Late check-out, past 11:00 am, will be charged a full day stay.

Full cancellations must be made within 48 hours of expected arrival. Credit cards will be charged for the full about of reserved stay if proper notice is not given.

Well behaved dogs are welcome for non-refundable $20 per night. Please no more than two dogs per room. Owners are responsible for care and cleaning up after pets. Any damage to the flooring or the room will be charged to your credit card.

Please enjoy our non-smoking rooms. There is a $200 charge for smoking in the rooms. Seating and ashtrays are located outside each room on the patio.

Hunting Season Policy:
Cancellations during hunting season should be made two weeks in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Credit cards will be charged for length of reserved stay if proper notice is not given.
Charges will not be reversed if you choose to check out before the scheduled date of departure.
Any gutting or cleaning of fish, game, or other wildlife in the room will be charged a $300 room cleaning charge.

Payment Policy
