The Judy House Cottages and Rooms

Country and pretty, the Judy House Cottages, Rooms and Backpacker Hostel, Negril, Jamaica are located just a 10-minute walk from the sea up Westland Mountain Road in Negril, Jamaica. It’s a great location, set in a friendly local ‘mixed’ community which gives you a very special taste of authentic Jamaican living. The lush gardens that surround the accommodations are truly stunning. We welcome you to explore and enjoy the foliage throughout the property.

The Judy House Cottages and the Backpacker Hostel nestle in the 1/4 acre property either side of the property, providing you with the utmost privacy while still feeling secure. You will feel comfortable and at home with all the modern amenities and have the option to meet travelers from all over the world (56 countries in 2019).

Two fully. furnished, self-catering cottages - the Judy House & Kim’s Place – are cozy, fully furnished wooden cottages with ceiling fan and air conditioning. They both consist of one bedroom that can sleep 1, 2, or 3 persons with screened doors and windows; newly refurbished private bathrooms with hot water showers; fully equipped kitchens. There is a front verandah on each cottage with a table, chairs, and hammock; private patio with table and benches. The bedrooms have one double and one twin bed; bedside tables and lamps; hairdryer; storage; hanging space; safes; free wifi and Netflix. Linens and towels are provided at no extra charge.

Zoe’s - Private Garden Room – is fully furnished with air conditioning and consists of one bedroom that can sleep 1 or 2 persons, a private bathroom with a hot water shower and a private garden with table, chairs, and sun loungers. The bedroom has a double bed; bedside table and lamp; bar refrigerator; storage; hanging space; safe box; dishwater; desk and chair. There is coffee/tea making equipment; FREE FIBRE FAST WIFI and Netflix; Linens and towels are provided at no extra charge. This room has the use of shared fully equipped kitchens; dining areas; hammocks, with both private and communal outdoor 'hangout' spaces.

Rita's - Double Private Garden Room- – is a cosy sunlit room with a double bed; small table, chair; bedside lamp; ceiling fan, hairdryer, shelving, safe box, and hanging space. Rita's has a pretty spacious patio garden with a table, chairs, hammock, and sunlounger. This room has use of shared outside bathrooms (one with hot water),; fully equipped kitchens; dining areas; hammocks. with both private and communal outdoor 'hangout' spaces. Wif; Netflix; dishware and linens are provided at no extra charge. Towels on request.

Micky's - Single Private Room- – is more private and slightly bigger than the Hostel single Rooms, consisting of one room with 3/4 bed; small table, bedside lamp; standing fan, shelving, safe box, and hanging space. This room has use of shared outside bathrooms (one with hot water),; fully equipped kitchens; dining areas; hammocks, with both private and communal outdoor 'hangout' spaces. Wifi, Netflix; dishware and linens, are provided at no extra charge. Towels in request.

Nestling at the back of the stunning Judy House property are 5 simple but cosy rooms designed specifically for backpackers – travellers with limited luggage that are often travelling the world, South America, the Caribbean, or just Jamaica. Rooms – Mango, Papaya, Star Apple and Banana are 4 small single rooms. Guava and Jackfruit are double 2 twin bed rooms. All rooms are outfitted with beds; bedside tables; fans; safe boxes (bring a small padlock); storage and hanging space. Wifi, Netflix, bed linens, and dishware are provided free of charge. Towels on request

Passion Fruit and Starfruit are 2 Tented Cabanas that are outfitted with hammocks, small mattresses, mosquito nets, and throws. Passion Fruit has 2 Hammocks and Star Fruit has 3 Hammocks (Not available in rainy season or during Covid restrictions).

Note: No dorm beds are available during Covid Restrictions due to the JTB Safety Protocols

The backpacker rooms have the use of shared (and fully dedicated) outside bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, dining areas, and wet weather gazebos. Rooms overlook the beautiful Hammock rock garden which has a large deck with table & chairs, loungers, hammocks, and an outdoor shower.

A 50% deposit is needed to hold your reservation payable by cash, card, or Paypal. The balance is then due in cash, card, or Paypal on arrival. NOTE: Prices include all taxes.
