Disclaimer - The Wellington Hotel is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties. Sadly, we do not have a lift and due to our cliff built location, unavoidable steps/stairs throughout the building can be a challenge for those with disabilities. The bar & dining room are 2 levels down. Our private steps to the beach are steep and many, these are followed by a challenging hill.

By asking us to confirm your booking, we are entitled to assume that you have had the opportunity to read and have read the below stated policies and by doing so, you agree and understand all that applies.

Smoking
The Wellington Hotel is a non-smoking accommodation and stands in line with the Smoke-free Legislation, we kindly ask you to only use the designated smoking areas around the hotel, smoking on balconies is prohibited.

Parking
The Wellington Hotel owns no parking. We cannot guarantee or reserve parking spaces. Belgrave road including outside the hotel is public and residential.

Check In / Out
You may check into your room from 15:00. You are required to check out by 10:30. If you have not vacated your bedroom by 11:00 a fee of 40.00GBP will be charged.

Pets
Dogs are accepted, a fixed cleaning charge of £30.00, payable upon check in, will be incurred per stay to account for a deep clean of the hotel room following check out to protect future guests from allergies. Guide dogs, assistance dogs, and hearing dogs are exempt from this charge. Please provide proof. We do not allow dogs inside the dining room during breakfast service.

Damages
Damages caused to the property during your stay will face a penalty charge after evaluation.

Payment Policy

We do not require a deposit on making your reservation. A credit or debit card will be required to secure your booking. No monies will be taken from the card given at any time prior to your arrival unless by your own consent. Payment must be made in full on arrival to the hotel at the check in process.

Wedding or large party bookings may require a deposit. A team member will clarify this upon booking.*

Credit/debit cards may be used only. We do not accept American Express. We are cashless at reception and accept card only.

Group bookings and Wedding bookings may be subjected to deposits. Please speak with a member of the team who will clarify this status on your booking.

Non-refundable bookings will not receive a refund if cancelled at any time after booking.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation must be done via email. We do not take cancellations over the phone or in person, written confirmation is required.

The guest can cancel free of charge until 5 days before arrival.

The guest will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel in the 5 days before arrival.

If the guest doesn't show up, they will be charged the total price of the reservation.

Non-refundable bookings are payment upfront, no monies will be refunded in the case of a cancellation.
