Terms & Conditions

At Trysil Hyttegrend, we want all of our guests to feel comfortable and welcome in "our home". We greet guests personally from 4 pm to 8 pm. For a late arrival, please contact us at trysilhytte@trysilhytte.com (in advance) or at +47 901 32 761 (same day) to arrange for access to your cottage, room or camping place.

Check in time is 4.00 pm (cottages).
Check out time is 10.30 am (camping 12 pm).

Trysil Hyttegrend is a NON-SMOKING facility, there is no smoking permitted in the cottages, rooms and camping-hytter. Smoking will unfortunately force us to charge you a NOK 2500 "we told you not to smoke" fee, transform your normally gracious hosts into grumpy innkeepers. Please don't smoke.

Pets are not allowed.

On the beds you find pillows and duvets. To keep the beds clean for all our guests, you need bed linen (sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases). It is allowed to bring your own. You can also rent it from us (NOK 140 pp).

Before departing we kindly ask you to clean the cottage / camping-hytte (this does not apply for the rooms: the cleaning is included in the room price). You find washing instructions in the cottage/hytte. If these are not followed, you will be charged for final cleaning.
We are happy to do the cleaning for you and you can order it by your reservation, on arrival or during your stay (cottage 6. pers. NOK 600, cottage 4+1 pers. NOK 500, cottage 2 pers. NOK 400, campinghytte NOK 300, familiehouse NOK 1500) .

Payment Policy

No deposit is required at time of booking, the total amount of the stay is due upon arrival. We accept Visa, MasterCard and cash.

Cancellation Policy

Avbestillingsregler
En reservasjon kan avgiftsfritt avbestilles hvis avbestillingen gjøres senest 14 dager før ankomst. Ved senere avbestillinger eller manglende oppmøte må overnattingen betales uavkortet.

Covid-19 garanti
Ved avbestilling mindre enn 14 dager før ankomstdag kan avgiftsfritt avbestilles:

-Dersom du på grunn av Covid-19 er forhindret fra å reise på grunn av reiserestriksjoner
(reiseforbud) innført av myndighetene innen denne 14 dagers perioden.
-Norske myndigheter innfører restriksjoner på grunn av Covid-19 innen denne 14 dagers perioden som medfører at overnatting hos Trysil Hyttegrend ikke kan gjennomføres.
-Trysilfjellet stenger alle heiser på grunn av Covid-19 innen denne 14 dagers perioden.

Oppholdet skal avbestilles, så fort du er gjort kjent med at reisen ikke kan gjennomføres.

Hvis det er kjent mer enn 14 dager før ankomst at du på grunnlag av ovennevnte årsaker er forhindret fra å reise eller at overnatting hos Trysil Hyttegrend ikke kan gjennomføres er du selv ansvarlig for å avbestille (gratis) senest 14 dager før ankomst.

Cancellation policy
A reservation can be canceled free of charge if the cancellation is made no later than 14 days before arrival. In case of later cancellations or no-show, the accommodation must be paid in full.

Covid-19 warranty
If canceled less than 14 days before date of arrival, the following can be canceled free of charge:

-If you are prevented from traveling due to Covid 19 due to travel restrictions (travel ban) imposed by the authorities within this 14 days period
-Norwegian authorities introduce restrictions due to Covid 19 within this 14 days period which means that accommodation at Trysil Hyttegrend can not be carried out.
-Trysilfjellet closes all lifts due to Covid 19 within this 14 days period.

The stay must be canceled as soon as you have been informed that the trip cannot be carried out.

If it is known more than 14 days before arrival that you are prevented from traveling or that accommodation with Trysil Hyttegrend cannot be for the reasons stated above, you are responsible for canceling (free of charge) no later than 14 days before arrival.

We are a small Hyttegrend and cancellations affect us greatly. If you cancel your reservations 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, there will be no penalty.

We regret that in the event of cancellations or changes within 14 days of arrival, 100% of total amount of the stay will be charged, unless we are able to re-book. We will make every attempt to re-book.

Reservations occupying three or more cottages are subject to our group reservation policy. If you cancel your group reservation 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, there will be no penalty.

We regret that in the event of cancellations or changes within 30 days of arrival, your credit card will be charged 100% of total amount of the stay, unless we are able to re-book. We will make every attempt to re-book.

No-show policy: your credit card will be charged 100% of total amount of the stay the day of scheduled arrival.

It is strongly advised that you take out cancellation cover at the time of booking so you are covered with immediate effect for all eventualities, including cancellation and delays.
