PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WEST WINDS LODGE AND CONDOS IS NOT A STANDARD HOTEL. We want to make sure you are as happy as possible with your vacation. If you experience any issues at all during your stay, please call us or stop by our office. More often than not we are able to resolve your issue over the phone within minutes with simple instructions and if not, we will be more than happy to send someone to assist you in person.

Monday Through Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Our staff lives onsite and will be glad to help you after hours. Simply call the number given to you at check-in and we will take care of you.

Late arrivals please initial, sign and return to the office in the morning.
CHECK-IN POLICY

CHECK-IN begins from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Arrivals after 6:00 p.m. will be provided with detailed instructions on how to receive keys.
We have no problem with early check-ins, pending availability. Please call to see if we can accommodate you.
Pending the season, your unit might not be ready during check-in times listed. Please be patient and we will get you in as quickly as possible.
CHECK-OUT POLICY

CHECK-OUT time is 11:OO A.M.
Late checkout is $40.00 up to 4:00 p.m. pending availability
CONDOS: Dispose of all trash in the dumpster located on the corner of Eagle and North St,
CONDOS: Load dishes in dishwasher and turn on to wash
ALL UNITS:Turn off all lights, heaters, A/C’s, fans etc….

CANCELLATION POLICY

Standard Room (King or Queen & Twin beds) and/or Cabin Room (Deluxe Double Queen Room with Two Queen Beds or King)

We require fourteen (14) days notice prior to arrival during non-holidays/Special events
Cancellation Policy
STANDARD ROOMS AND CABIN ROOMS KING/DELUXE DOUBLE QUEEN ROOM WITH TWO QUEEN BEDS

We require a 7 day prior to arrival cancellation notice for non-holidays on our basic Standard Rooms and Cabin Rooms/Deluxe Queen Room with Two Queen Beds.
CONDOS/APARTMENTS

We require a 14 day cancellation notice for our condos/apt during non-holidays.
ALL UNITS

We require a 30 day cancellation notice for holidays and special events
We require a 30 day notice for all group reservations.
APPLICABLE FEES

The guest will be charged for any nights reserved in which West Winds Lodge & Condos are unable to rebook from a late cancellation
All cancellations prior to the above policy are subject to a $35.00 cancellation fee unless a reschedule is agreed upon.
CHRISTMAS RESERVATIONS (DECEMBER 15th THROUGH JANUARY 6th)

Reservations made for the time period between December 15th through January 6th require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Remainder is to be PAID IN FULL on or by November 1st and is NON-REFUNDABLE after November 1st.

Condos/Apts

We require thirty (30) days notice prior to arrivaL

The West Winds Lodge and Condos is privately owned and reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. We are not responsible for accidents or injury to guests or loss of money or other valuables. By initialing below you accept responsibility for any and all guests within your party. You are responsible for full payment of this reservation and for any damages, theft, or losses and will pay full cost to repair or replace damages. NO PARTIAL REFUNDS for early departures.

Over the years we have invested back into the business a great deal of time and money to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. In order to keep it this way we will not tolerate any of the below listed infractions. The primary guest signature on the reservation agreement form is the responsible party for the entire amount of any damages, losses caused by any member of his/her party. At the discretion of West Winds Lodge your credit card on file will be charged for the following:

Lost Key: $35.00
Excessive clean-up: Inside and outside of the property with variable amount to cover costs
Damages, theft or loss of property
Do not move any furniture or appliances $200.00 minimum charge ***
Do not jump on any furniture.
All units are NON-SMOKING; $200.00 minimum charge***
No littering
No pets are allowed in the condo/apt units due to association restrictions. You may be asked to vacate the property with no refund if a pet is present without consent.
Some units in the lodge are pet friendly. If a pet has not been approved by us we will charge your card the $25.00 fee per night per pet.
Do not remove any amenities or items from your individual unit. Everything is accounted for and you will be charged for any missing item.
There is a maximum occupancy count for each unit. Any additional guest will be charged $35.00 per person per night. If there is an excess in occupancy, you may be asked to book another unit altogether or you may be subject to vacate the property with no refund.
No charcoal,lighter fluid, etc.permitted on gas grills
No fireworks

INDOOR POOL & HOT TUB:

Hours of operation:
Sunday through Thursday 11am to 9pm
Friday and Saturday 11am to 10pm
Operational times subject to change due to time of season, maintenance, weather, or proper chemical count per NEW MEXICO STATE LAW.
All swimmers MUST rinse off before entering pool and/or hot tub
No smoking allowed in pool/hot tub enclosure
No Glass, food or beverages inside pool/hot tub enclosure
WARNING: NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY, Children under the age of 16 may not use swimming pool without an adult in attendance. Adults should not swim alone.

FIREPLACES:

You are responsible for all aspects of safety when using the fireplace.
Never leave fire unattended (do not fall asleep while fireplace is still in use)
USE REAL WOOD ONLY
Keep the screens closed after fire has been started
Douse all fires with water after done
DO NOT USE LIGHTER FLUID

Excessively loud and obtrusive behavior will not be tolerated. Please respect our other guests and treat them as you would want to be treated.

Mother nature can be kind and yet extreme. Keep in mind we are in the mountains at a higher elevation. Be prepared. Bring the proper supplies: gear, footwear, clothing, etc. A 4-wheel drive/AWD vehicle is recommended and whatever else you think you may need and more to be safe. In winter season expect to be walking and driving on ice.

I agree that the total number of guest are as stated above. I understand that West Winds Lodge & Condos' Management retains the right to cancel this reservation immediately if guest that are not registered are in the unit. Visitors of guests do not have pool privileges and are not allowed on the property after 10:00PM. I have read and agree to all conditions on the card

Deposits
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Upon booking with the West Winds Lodge and Condos a 50% charge, including tax, will be charged to your credit card.
